RAF remote drone pilots facing real-world combat stress

RAF drone pilots are suffering equivalent stresses to their comrades on the battlefield due to the unnatural nature of their ‘targeted killings’, RAF commanders have warned MPs.

Concerns over how drone pilots at RAF Waddington are coping with the cold-blooded killing of human targets thousands of miles away in Syria, Iraq and beyond are to be raised in Westminster on

Tuesday when MPs will also question the legality of the UK’s drone programme.

Legal misgivings over the use of drones – which The Telegraph understands are shared by some senior RAF Commanders – has intensified after David Cameron announced in September that Britain had, for the first time, used drones for a targeted assassination in Syria.

There’s plenty of MP’s that are on the other side i.e. traitors. The last thing they want is their allies getting killed so of course they’re going to question the legality of how you’re fighting a war. The thing is to tell them to sod off.
