Sinai plane crash: What caused it?

Egyptian and international experts have begun their investigation into why a Russian airliner carrying 224 people crashed in the north of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, killing all on board.

What will be their main lines of inquiry?

    Piss poor Russian preventive maintenance.

It was very likely caused by an on board islamic suicide bomber planted by some jihadist sympathizers in the Egyptian security establishment and probably with American blessings! Russians should stop going to Egypt for vacation, they should be going to some good warm beaches in non-islamic countries such as Cuba, Dominican republic and Venezuela etc.

They have beaches in Crimea now, if they don’t mind all the muslim Tatars.

How about Israel? It’s a little safer and I’m sure they’ll find plenty of Russian speaker.

The Israeli tourism minister should visit Russia and talk about this to the Russians and the Israelis should buy commercial adds in major Russian TVs and Papers advertising Israeli Tourism services, emphasizing their security.

    • It was American duct-tape.

What will be their main lines of inquiry?

They will emulate US Congress and pretend to be rabid truth seekers while moving towards the preordained outcome: anything but terrorism.

There’s big money at stake for Egypt and potential harm to Putin’s war on ISIS if the crash was caused by terrorism. The blame will be placed on mechanical failure or human error unless the terrorists can provide proof that they actually brought the plane down.

I’m not saying it was terrorism that brought the plane down. But if it was, there is a strong incentive for all parties to deny it. Well, except the airline but they’re small potatoes.

The New York Times will of course blame the Jews.

    Brought down by NTDWI.

  • It was Lithuanian batteries.

it broke up at altitude so it must be a bomb a missile or catastrophic failure which is unlikely.
