America’s Soft Tyranny is Hardening

We are semi-officially a lawless, soft (but hardening) tyranny. How else does one explain Lois Lerner not being charged with the numerous crimes she has most certainly committed? As many others have noted, the fix was in as surely as the fix is in on the countless crimes committed by Hillary Clinton and her grubby Clinton Foundation that sells influence at very high prices. Like Lerner, Clinton likely will be deemed above the law by the DOJ and the FBI. General Petraeus and several others were charged, jailed and/or fined for crimes so minimal compared to Hillary’s because they did not toe the Obama line: no deviation from the agenda is allowed, no criticism of the regime will be tolerated.

I’m waiting for the mass arrests or assassinations of candidates to narrow the options for voters to choose between the pre-approved ones.

    • Xavier

I’m waiting for someone to try to take out Trump. Hillary’s got the experience but the GOP has the motive.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

        Hillary’s got That experience.
Else she is just an old dyke who is daring us to call her out.

      • Exile1981

I’m actually surprised it hasn’t happened yet. Of course taking him out now would give people a chance to get upset and recover. Doing it just a few days before the election would give all sorts of opportunities for someone to declare martial law while they “investigate”.

        • DavidinNorthBurnaby

That “someone” being the Anointed One?

          • Exile1981

most likely but not necessarily. If he is someones puppet he could claim he’s stepping down anyways to avoid going over his 2 term limit and appoint a successor chosen by said puppet master. Thatwould have the advantage of the lefties being able to claim he’s doing the right thing by stepping down.

No if he’s not someones puppet he could hold on until the emergency is over.

      • DavidinNorthBurnaby

You mean he might throw himself into a river or something? Well, its happened before, hasn’t it?

We can now see how a country becomes a “banana republic”: not by growing bananas, but by turning government into a travesty and a mockery. We have a government of henchmen now, and any semblance of justice that comes out of it will be a miracle.

Former henchman Eric Holder gave a free pass to the New Black Panthers to intimidate voters. Henchmen in the Department of Justice colluded with the I.R.S. to trump up charges against conservative groups.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said, “The FBI and Justice Department worked with Lois Lerner and the IRS to concoct some reason to put President Obama’s opponents in jail before his reelection.”

Justice John Roberts is a henchman. Senorita Sotomayor is a henchman. We’ll get no justice out of the Supreme Court, ever. All we will get will be henchmen’s rule.

    • Rosenmops

Electing close relatives of former leaders seems sketchy…like something that would happen in a banana republic.

It is pure progressivism : “i may have made mistakes but my heart was in the right place “on the other hand everybody knows Conservatives are evil and therefore deserving of the harshest punishment. If you signal enough virtue you can get away with murder.

There is no Rule of Law in the US anymore. The core principle that the country was founded on – equality for all – has been nullified by politicians and entitlement groups.

    • Alain

Agreed and the same goes for Canada when it comes to the Rule of Law.

  • Xavier

If you want to know who’s above the law, watch what the White House quietly releases in the Friday afternoon news.

  • Xavier

Here’s a perfect example: Obama says he won’t release his emails from Hillary until 5-10 years after he’s out of office.

That proves he knew she had a private email address – something he has denied. That lying son of a bitch – but who will charge or prosecute him?

    • Exile1981

Actually the next president could make them public. Its why obama never went after bush, he knew doing so would set a bad precedent.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Speaking of Obama and lying, has he ever explained if he was lying when he was Kenyan or if he’s lying now?

  • Dana Garcia

It’s not too late for impeachment.

  • Ron MacDonald

American citizens won’t forget this on November 8th, 2106.

    • Alain

I am sad to say that most of them will, just like the ones who elected Obama a second time.

    • Exile1981

Because 2106 will be the free election 😉

Lawless is right. how about all the politicians who have been bought off, or are too afraid to confront the gun lobby over indiscriminate gun sales that presently costs the U.S. 33,000 lives a year.

  • Norman_In_New_York

If the Republicans make this an issue, they might win some votes.
