At least 25 people killed in explosion and fire at a nightclub in Romania

AS MANY AS 40 people have been killed tonight after an explosion and fire at a nightclub in the Romanian capital Bucharest, according to local media.

Romanian TV channel Antena 3 reports that 21 people had been confirmed dead, with 80 wounded, some of them critically.

Another Romanian TV channel, Digi 24, is reporting that 40 people had been killed in the incident, at the Colectiv nightclub, citing medical sources.
