Walmart stirs controversy by selling IDF soldier children’s Halloween costume

US supermarket Walmart has caused controversy by stocking an Israeli army Halloween outfit for children.

The costume is available on the store’s website for $27.44 (£17.90) ahead of Halloween this Saturday.

Some users of social media expressed outrage at the costume. It comes at a time of spiralling violence between Israel and the Palestinians.

The store’s “Sheikh Fagin nose”, also available on its website, has likewise drawn criticism. h/t MP

Because the muslim sheik doesn’t come with a knife and a suicide vest. They missed an integral part of the cultural attire of muslims.

    • Samuel

      Cultural appropriation.

I never thought I would find something positive about Walmart, but give them a round of applause for this

…as long as they don’t apologize and pull the products.

      • Reader

        Too late.

They’ve pulled both items off of their website.

  • BillyHW

    Bizarre if you ask me.

    • FactsWillOut

      Still cool, though.

Walmart Discontinues Sale of Israeli Soldier Halloween Costume

Department store chain’s Facebook page was flooded with criticism, including calls for a Walmart boycott.

    First comment:

    A highly effective BDS action.

In the bizarro world of the politically correct left that discounts and dismisses the ongoing chaos of everything Mo, and reduces terrorist acts where the terrorist though crying “Allah Akhbar” to “Lone Wolf” or “Workplace” incidents, an IDF uniform is seen as “offensive” while Mo in Gaza who dresses up his 4 yr. old in Hamas garb with a plastic rifle, get him to stomp on an Israeli flag while chanting “Kill Yahuds” is deemed as a “poor oppressed victim of Israeli aggression” by people wearing that IDF uniform.

    • David Murrell

The IDF uniform is “offensive” since the person wearing it is a Jew. This, according to BBC news.

Hamas-linked CAIR will soon force Walmart to stop selling this item.

Walmart needs to show the cultural enrichment of both groups.

For the jooooos they need to have plastic Nobel Prizes, smart phones, and doctors uniforms.

For the muzzies they can add the cultural enrichment that has been provided by slave chains, harem costumes, burkas and bloody scimitars. And they can sell foam-plastic rocks of various sizes for the religious stonings! Fun for one and all…. except maybe the slaves, concubines and those killed.
