Rabbi’s First Interview Since Stabbing Attack in France: Assailant Wasn’t ‘Crazy,’ Bystanders Did Nothing

“…Wanting to set the record straight, and to “restore some truth,” the rabbi — referred to only by the initial “A” — was responding to what he considers to be misleading reports in the French press about the attack on him, his 19-year-old son and a friend, by a knife-wielding assailant.”

‘“Patrons were there, but none intervened.”’

The French have resigned themselves to their future : Shariah-compliance

I completely agree with you but it seems this has become the norm throughout the West, not just in France. Bystanders now will watch and even film the attack but not lift a hand to assist. That is a very sad commentary about what we have become.

No wonder the French were impressed by the Sacramento fellows who took down the jihadist on the train.

Random violence? This would clearly be Imam Hussein Obama’s enlightened opinion. *sigh*

A rabbi in France, his 19 year old son, and a family friend, obvious Jews on a Saturday morning passing near a synagogue. Three people without a decent fighting knife or a little league baseball bat available on any of their persons. It boggles the mind.

Agree. Hard to feel sorry for anyone these days who is not looking after themselves. As for anyone sitting on the sideline not acting I will show you the same concern when your time comes.

I take it these were Orthodox Jews in which case it is forbidden to carry anything on the Sabbath. I think the situation may be different in Israel, at least for some, due to where they live.
