I don’t think we have had an honest choice of a conservative Presidential candidate since Reagan in 1980. Like Trump the establishment did everything they could to run away from him.

Mitt, like all the RINOS like McCain before him is just the alternative choice between ‘The left’ and ‘the moderate left’, but either choice is still a march to the left.
So while some debate if Trump is a “real conservative” he’s far more authentic on that front than any other option.

    • warrenzoell

Trump is a progressive in disguise.
The only true conservative and best choice is Ted Cruz.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Massive increases in H1-B visas are the mark of a conservative?
        Who knew!

        • warrenzoell

He’s certainly a lot more conservative than Trump. In fact he’s a lot more conservative then any other candidate.
You’re not really conservative are you? Have you ever researched Trumps past (and Present)? If not I really suggest you do. You go and find any reason you can not to support Cruz. As for H! B visas, you don’t the US should bring in highly skilled workers?

          • Drunk_by_Noon

I’m very conservative; I’m more conservative than you and anyone else in the whole gosh-darned world.
I’m so conservative that I’m frequently mistaken for being Amish.
Seriously, put down the GOP establishment crack pipe and get straight for long enough to know that ANYONE who came up through the traditional GOP farm system is hopelessly corrupt by the time they hit the national stage.
I could care less what Trump’s “credentials” are.
When other can’t even bring themselves to say that they would cut H1-B visas and deport illegals then I’ll believe that they might be LESS conservative than Trump.
I would support Cruz as a possible VP, but until the rest of the field can give me something other than Jeb-light, I’m going my own way.
I don’t need them anymore than I need more illegals or H1-B visa holders driving down wages or phony trade agreements that make it easier to export American jobs to the third-world.
Screw ’em all, and their idiot supporters.
Does that sound conservative enough for ya?

          • warrenzoell

Are you even aware what Cruz has done? He’s the only one that is actually fighting the GOP establishment directly. Haven’t you been paying attention?
If you’re so conservative why do you support Trump?
As for your crap claim, may I suggest that you research it for yourself. You’ll see that everything I posted is true.
Cruz has been arguing for the deportation of illegals long before Trump came along with his one issue platform.
As for H1 B visas. They’re the very spirit of America. Bring in the brightest and the best.
“I could care less what Trump’s “credentials” are.”
            That’s your problem.
“phony trade agreements that make it easier to export American jobs to the third-world.”
Ever wonder how many companies sitting in third world and communist nations Trump has a vested interest in?

If he was any good, he’d be winning.
            He’s screwed on immigration.

          • warrenzoell

With that logic Obama must be brilliant.

When you get up and look in the mirror in the morning, do you see something that looks like this?
If so, it’s because you are a “tool”.

            who researched Bummers past?

          • Drunk_by_Noon

It sure as hell was not the GOP!

          • mauser 98

they want their illegal in… knew all along

          • warrenzoell

No one. He they did he wouldn’t be president.

        • warrenzoell

Trump’s been a corporate lefty for most of his life and suddenly he does an
about face? Now he’s a conservative and we’re all supposed to buy it.
          Let’s see,

Trump said he would support the Iran treaty.

He also said that he like’s the Canadian health care system.

The United States has the highest corporate tax in the world and for
mainly this reason is why companies like Nabisco and Ford are setting up
shops in Mexico, China, etc. If Reagan were alive he would ask what
this country could do to entice these companies back to the US, and make
          plans accordingly.

But what does the little dictator in waiting Donald Trump do? He
threatens them and his so called conservative supporters cheer. This is
the mind set of a progressive, not a conservative.
          He
apparently receives Bibles from people, but instead of reading one of
them he collects them and puts them in a “special place”.

Didn’t this so called conservative candidate once call himself Obama’s biggest fan?
Didn’t Trump donate over $100,000 to the Clinton foundation?

Didn’t Trump all the way up to 2009 claim he was a Democrat?

Didn’t he once say that he thought Oprah Winfrey would make a great VP running mate?

Didn’t Trump make donations to Rahm Emanuel and Harry Reid?

Didn’t Trump back in 2009 claim that the US needs universal Healthcare much like Canada’s?

Didn’t Trump at one time call for a 14.25% one time tax on people worth over $10,000,000?

Didn’t Trump call for a 20% tax on importing goods?

I could go on and on of course, but I think you get the picture.

Careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

          Oh and one more thing.

Didn’t Trump support the Supreme Court’s Kelo decision, which allowed
public authorities to take private land and turn it over to private
          interests for “economic development?

          • Drunk_by_Noon

Where is the part abut deporting the illegals?
The rest of what you wrote is crap.
Deporting illegals is all anyone cares about this election cycle and if you don’t get that, then you are as out of touch as Ross Perot and his graphs.

I like Trump because he has fuck you money and doesn’t have to be bought.
I’m a little concerned about his position on eminent domain.
If it has to be used it should fairly compensate those it is used against.
Mind you, I’ve seen it go the other way.
There was a golf course in Winnipeg that built another nine holes on public land that was slated for a highway one day.
It took forty years to start building that highway.
Once the city announced they were starting construction the golf course tried to argue their squatters rights to that land.
            They lost.

2 US citizen parents at time of birth required from what i have read.

Jindal , Rubio , Santorum all ineligible
            GOP never questioned Bummers background

a “natural born Citizen” was created by
someone first becoming a member of the United States (a U.S. citizen) by
birth on its soil to a mother and father who were U.S. citizens or
if not so born then through naturalization, and then joining with another
similarly created U.S. citizen to procreate a child on U.S. soil.
The product of that union would be an Article II “natural born Citizen.”

            here you go re Harvard

A Response to Neal Katyal and Paul Clement on the Meaning of a Natural Born Citizen

“The authors’ argument suffers from the fallacy of bald
assertion. They provide no convincing evidence
for their position on who is included as an Article II natural
            born citizen. ”

They are all therefore under U.S. law not born with sole allegiance to the United States,
but also subject to a foreign power and with natural sympathies for those
foreign nations, a condition that the Framers did not allow future Presidents
and Commanders to have. Being born
subject to foreign powers and influence and with such sympathies, they are not
nor can they be natural born citizens. Not
being natural born citizens, they are not eligible to be President.”

          • warrenzoell

Mario Apuzzo, Esq? As you know former solicitor general Paul Clement and former acting solicitor general Neal Katyal believe Cruz meets the constitutional requirements to be eligible for the presidency. But what about Rubio and Jindal? Both were born though in the US of parents who weren’t US citizens. How far do you want to take this? You just don’t like Ted Cruz.

So let me ask. You would rather have someone like Clinton or Sanders because by your standards they’re true American citizens over Cruz because “you” think he’s not eligible?
If Cruz becomes the Republican candidate (and there’s chance he might) would you support a supreme court challenge to his eligibility even though it may allow socialist progressives like Clinton or Sanders to take office?

            must do better
330+ million pop. of US. a 100% legit competent candidate must be out there
