Obama Campaign Team Hands Canada Over to the Lib-Left

The Province of Ontario with twice the debt of California making it now the world’s most indebted sub-sovereign borrower, saddled Canada with its first lib-left government in more than a decade in elections tonight.

Prime Minister Elect Justin Trudeau’s friendship with the high spending Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynn is a matter of public record. Ontario has a whopping $307 billion in bond debt; spends less per person on delivering service than any other province in Canada, yet still has a higher annual operating deficit.

If this accusation is true (no mention of any names or specifics only the citation of “rumors”) then repay the favor by helping give Trump a landslide in Novemer 2016.
That one thing alone might do as much to constrain the Liberal Party’s ability to function as anything else you could do.

Or we could hire Blackwater to run a coup for us…

One of the best counterweights Canada will have is President Trump.

      • Xavier

Can you imagine Trump and Tristan having a “disagreement”? Someone would run home crying.

        • dance…dancetotheradio

          Yeah, someone.
          Thanks for the smile!

Actually, that concerns me just a little.
Not so much for Justin getting his feelings hurt but for the Canadian people that rely on predictable and consistent trade and the flow of goods back and forth across the border.

Trump has a long memory and takes everything personally, and if Justin tries to use his dad’s playbook and talk crap about America to gin up popular support at home… well, let’s just say that tactic will only end in tears.
Tears and massive softwood tariffs, and 72-hour border closures for “security reviews”, and other stuff that most Canadians might just consider “too petty for America to do” (like 100% vehicle safety check compliance) and it’s likely that Trump will do them as punitive reciprocity.
Remember that Canadian shopping tourist (with a very poor attitude) from a few years back that got his car dissembled and cooled his jets for a few days in an American concrete immigration detention cell?

Trump does not have warm feelings for Quebec in any event, and so he might just have a hair trigger when dealing with Mr. Trudeau.

The next Governor General of Canada will probably be some airhead celebrity.

What’s Trudeau’s brother doing these days?

      • Clink9

Chilling out at the bottom of Lake Kokanee.

          That’s his other brother Darryl.

Amazing how “American style” anything is usually how the left puts something down. “American style healthcare” is understood to be very bad, in CBC lexicon, because it’s “American.”

If Harper had brought up American political consultants to help him out, the yowling press would get lip blisters, yapping on about “American style” politics.

    Except when Junior does it.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

      Junior didn’t win this election.
      The media did.

      • Xavier

Obama’s people have been up there for a year orchestrating this.

    • tom_billesley

For the 2015 UK election, Ed Milliband hired David Axelrod and David Cameron hired Jim Messina, both Obama campaign advisers.

“The Province of Ontario with twice the debt of California making it now the world’s most indebted sub-sovereign borrower”

I’m afraid that that statement is not correct. The honour of being the most indebted sub-sovereign borrower would go to Puerto Rico, which, a few months ago, effectively became bankrupt.

Let’s hope that Justin opens up the doors to millions of needy refugees from the Middle East and Africa.

Canada has unlimited wealth that it should be sharing with the less fortunate.

We should rename it to Canafristan.

What’s this email about “Western Spring” I see circulating?

In the UK, it is illegal for a local authority to set an annual operating budget deficit. However there’s lots of accumulated debt in the system – for example local authority pension fund deficits total about £50 billion. Central government can still screw up the most financially responsible council – some cities are complaining that extra funds given to them to pay for settling migrants are meeting only about two thirds of the costs.

    Dear President Trump,
When the wall along the Mexican border is complete run up north and get started on that wall along the Canadian border (like Mexico they are too damn broke and incompetent to build their own).
