Trojan Horse: Muslim Teachers linked to WhatsApp chats about murdered soldier Lee Rigby, disciplinary hearing told

The first teachers linked to the Trojan Horse plot to introduce hardline Muslim teaching into schools have appeared before a disciplinary panel.

Akeel Ahmed and Inamulhaq Anwar both taught at Park View Academy in Alum Rock and were said to part of a WhatsApp group called the ‘Park View Brotherhood’.

They appeared before a professional conduct hearing at the National College for Teaching and Leadership, to answer charges about how they had allegedly tried to force extreme Muslim teaching onto the school agenda.

Both men were said to have taken part in WhatsApp chats, including some which were anti-Semitic or were about the murder of soldier Lee Rigby or the Boston Marathon bombings.
