Kurdish forces in Syria ‘will attack Islamic State’s Raqqa within weeks’

Kurdish forces in Syria expect to launch an attack on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’s (Isil) stronghold in the north-eastern city of Raqqa within weeks, a senior commander has said.

Span Hamo, head of the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia, told the London-based al-Hayat newspaper that contacts were under way with the US-led military coalition to set “zero hour” for the operation.

We’ll see.

I bet that given sufficient armaments, the Kurds can do the job themselves without any other coalition members taking part.

When you hear some goof predicting an offensive against ISIS by “his side” as soon as “much needed American promised supplies” arrive in the area and mutual plans for attacking are “coordinated” ………………………..
Is Emperor Barry making up still more shit?

    • If I were the Kurds I would look for a better ally.

“Within weeks?” Nothing like giving the Islamic State plenty of warning.
