Six “Germans” arrested trying to cross into Syria, say Turkish police

Turkish gendarmes have detained six German citizens, suspected of trying to cross Turkey’s southern border with Syria.

The individuals were detained on Friday in the southeastern province of Sanliurfa, Turkish security forces said.

Gendarmerie teams determined that the six people were trying to pass to Syria across the frontier in the Goktepe neighborhood of Birecik district.

Officials said that the detainees would be deported.

These guys are bucking the trend. Probably trying to get away from all the Syrians in Germany.

You can bet that their names are not Hans, Franz, Fritz, Werner, Wilhelm and Wolfgang.

Well hey, if Syrians can go freely to Germany why the heck can’t Germans go freely to Syria?

The six “Germans” are probably Turkish. No need to deport them…they already are in their country.
