Mulcair standing firm: Will submit to rule of supremacist cult at citizenship ceremonies #elxn42

STE-CATHERINE-DE-LA-JACQUES-CARTIER, Que. — The prospect of losing votes in Quebec hasn’t discouraged Tom Mulcair from digging in on his position that women should have a right to wear a veil at citizenship ceremonies.

The NDP leader fielded more questions Friday about the delicate subject, one day after he clashed with his rivals over it during the French-language leaders’ debate.

The issue is particularly tricky for Mulcair, whose support is based in Quebec.

Good. Glad to see the NDP doubling down on this, since they are totally out of touch with the majority of Canadians.

Everything that is great about our heritage, they despise. And yet, there is no shortage of women who will vote for them.

      • Justin St.Denis

I have found very few women who will admit to intending to vote for Mulcair. The beard really turns women off. Tom’s crazy eyes seal the deal.

The niqab defines nicely those crazy Mulcair eyes.

        • BillyHW

And Justine’s hair is just so dreamy.

    • John

They took the bait and now it’s stuck in their craw. Leur dégringolade commence.

  • BillyHW

I have the most radical leftwing friends that are having meltdowns over this Niqab ban on facebook. They are the most anti-(Christian)religious people in the world, but on this issue they are indistinguishable from ISIS. It boggles the mind.

I guess we would all be better off if your friends were not allowed to vote. Look at all the problems we have because of people like them 😉 Should be agains the law.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

I will not have radical leftwing friends.

      • Justin St.Denis

An easy thing to accomplish since you likely dislike radical left wing people to begin with. I have no “progressives” among my friends. They are simply too tiresome and boring, and their wives are inevitably ugly and depressing.

  • If I cannot walk into a store wearing a Halloween mask, no broad should wear a garment designed by a woman-hating man.

  • Martin B

This is the first time I’ve seen a man use a niqab to hang himself.

    • Justin St.Denis

      Good one.

  • Justin St.Denis

I am a huge Harper supporter. I want to see Harper win. That having been said, I really enjoy watching Mulcair and Trudeau lose… This has been one of the best election campaigns ever from my perspective simply because I am certain I am watching stupid Justin Trudeau’s last days on the political stage. It is also fun to see people wake up to how effin’ crazy Tommy “Two-Passports” Mulcair actually is. Good times.

  • John

Trudeau and Mulcair are being bitten in the ass by multiculturalism. Instead of defending Canada, they’re both defending a handful of dozy bints who’ve really pissed Candians off

  • pettifog

The judges in the Court of Appeal rushed this judgment so, they said, that this ISIS sympathizer wearing the mask would be able to vote. It seems, though, that they are so completely out of touch that they figured their ruling would be welcomed by ordinary citizens, thereby ushering Mulcair or Trudeau to victory.
