Don’t Protect Afghan Predators

General John Campbell, commander of coalition troops in Afghanistan, has responded to a shocking New York Times article which claimed that the U.S. military in Afghanistan had a policy of ignoring reports of Afghan allies sexually abusing children. According to Campbell, “I personally have served multiple tours of duty in Afghanistan and am absolutely confident that no such theater policy has ever existed here, and certainly, no such policy has existed throughout my tenure as commander.”

NYT as usual. is highly selective.
They work from a simple meme.
No American “ally” is ever capable of meeting the NYT’ very high set standards.
No enemy of the US need ever worry about going below the NYT’ very low standards.

There are plenty of appalling sexual, social, and religious practices to be found throughout Asia to tut tut about from the leftist propaganda palace in New York. But since they are only interested in what fits into their domestic politics wedge issue portfolio no one need be too upset.
