Murdered soldier Lee Rigby WILL get a memorial at the spot where he died after council makes U-turn

Lee RigbyCouncil chiefs have backed down on their refusal to name a memorial in Greenwich after murdered soldier Lee Rigby – declaring a plaque bearing his name will soon be installed.

The creation of the plaque marks a victory for Mr Rigby’s campaigners, as well as his mother Lyn, who had long urged Greenwich council to create a commemorative site for her son.
