“Jean Chretien is gross” — but his fawning Media Party “fan-boys” are worse

Jean Chretien has been brought back, like an undead zombie, to campaign with Justin Trudeau.

Any time I see that assholes face, of here his voice I get an irresistible urge to punch him in the mouth. When he was PM the idea that someone lie him was representing Canada on the world stage was embarrassing.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

Chretien still believes he won on merit not by default.
And when are the polls going to show us a real picture?
There has to be some swing from the time for a change narrative before election day.

        Reform party split the vote

        • Millie_Woods

          It needed to be done.

        • andycanuck

          “Progressive” Conservatives split the vote.

    • disqusW6sf

Which makes it plausible that Trudeau will either be our next PM or come very close to it.

  • Drunk_by_Noon

What are they going to call it?
    The “bag of dicks tour”?

  • simus1

If memory serves this “elder statesman” still holds the record for contract cancellation waste based solely on his own personal animosity towards (even Liberal) winning bidders of Mulroney govt contracts . At least GLLKDW can claim her wasteful decisions were in the interest of keeping Grits in power.

  • Maurixio Garciasanchez

No wonder why he started campaigning for the Libs , the party is going up in the pools , the Libs balanced the budgets , the Cons never tough about that .

    • mauser 98

Maxi………. is dual citizen Mulcair eligible for the job?
what if Stevie were dual US/Can citizen?
      your head would explode

      • Maurixio Garciasanchez

Miss then Harper needs to hire that advisor he got from Australia as a Finance Minister , the Cons got him last week and he already balanced their budget

        • mauser 98

          advisor not elected ………PM is

      • Maurixio Garciasanchez

Harper already got his advisor from Australia is he a dual citizen ? Most likely not .

And that’s not something a successful campaign needs to do.

  • Millie_Woods

This is good news for Harper and Canada. The libs have let Jean out of the crypt in hopes he can win back some of the older voters who’ve defected to the NDP.

They tried to get Louis St. Laurent but he was busy.

      • simus1

        Louis was a classy guy.
After him it was a downhill slide to the bottom of the barrel for the Liberal Party leaders on offer to the public.

        • disqusW6sf

My parents (conservative) would agree and based on that I sense most Canadians with likewise values would agree. We never hear that much about Mr. Laurent.

  • Maurixio Garciasanchez

This country needs a new leader and I hope it happens this upcoming election .

      Bugger off spic.

Socialism may work it’s wonders in Latin America but it doesn’t work among working folks.

      • Surele Surele

it doesn’t work there and it will not work here. it is an ideology based completely on fantasy. it doesn’t free people, it enslaves them.

        • mobuyus

I said it may work it’s wonders. The definition of “it’s wonders” is never open for debate.
