Teenager seriously injured after anti-Semitic attack in Manchester

A teenage boy was battered unconscious and three young men were also assaulted during an anti-Semitic attack at a tram stop, police say.

The four victims were injured by three thugs at Bowker Vale Metrolink station in north Manchester at around 11.30pm on Saturday night, September 5.

Officers are treating the incident as a hate crime.

The worst affected was a 17-year-old, who lost consciousness during the attack and remains in hospital suffering from a suspected bleed to the brain.
