Losing the War of Ideas

We have arrived at the point where the consequences of the West’s intellectual disarmament at the hands of political correctness begins to have disastrous consequences in the lives of hundreds of millions of people.

Speaking last month at the memorial service for the five US marines massacred at a recruiting office in Chattanooga, Tennessee, US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said, “The meaning of their killing is yet unclear, and what combination of disturbed mind, violent extremism, and hateful ideology was at work, we don’t know.”

US Vice President Joe Biden claimed, the “perverse ideologues…may be able to inspire a single lone wolf, but they can never, never threaten who we are.”

Both men were wrong, and dangerously so.

But let’s start with the fact that a plurality of Americans, growing day by day, depends on the government to feed, clothe and house them. Their lives don’t matter and they must accept the propaganda of their feed mill. The evidence is that they do. Republicans generally demand more money, in terms of paid consultancies, etc., so they are higher priced than the bureaucrats, social workers, and welfare recipients who vote progressive. Hence the lesser demand for Republicans in the current American system. I no longer honestly believe that they or we can pull out of this. Changing the government won’t help, in the face of the growing numbers of dependent hordes. The battle increasingly becomes for the plain right to discuss what is happening among ourselves, unmolested. – Denyse O’Leary, Ottawa

Just so we’re clear not a single cop killing by a black man in this sunny summer of 2015 has ever been called a hate crime by the administration. Not a one.

That Solway piece from yesterday puts the War of Ideas into perspective.

Islamic theology – Islam’s driving force – is the problem.

Imaging a peaceful population without Islam. Then add Islamic theology. What do you get? Look no further than Pakistan and Afghanistan. Before the arrival of Islam they were peaceful Buddhist/Hindu populations.

    Islamic theology is the problem.

The non-Muslim world deals with this pathological and contagious ideology or get read for armageddon.
