Quebec’s Proposed Imposition of Blasphemy Laws Will Affect Us All

While Canada is currently in the throes of an early election, in the province of Quebec there’s growing debate over the future of free speech. The Quebec Parliament is currently debating whether to pass Bill 59, a bill that would grant the Quebec Human Rights Commission (QHRC) the authority to investigate so-called “hate speech”, even without a complaint being filed.

They want you to believe their goal is hate-free speech but in reality they hate free-speech.

    • Very well put.

      Never better said!

Women will just tell you to shut up if they don’t like what they hear, it’s in their nature.

There does seem to be a lot of women on these human rights tribunals. Although the mayor of Oakville looks like he would fit in. But he’s got a better paying gig for the time being.

I thought they just ignored what you were saying entirely and then started talking about some unrelated boring bs of their own.

  • Islam is taking the world back to the Middle Ages. There will be madrasas, harems, slave-markets, etc. Nice prospect.

After Couillard left his position of Minister of Health in JeanCharest’s gov’t, he spent a couple years in Saudi Arabia working as a medical consultant. He is definately tainted by Saudi corruption. Québec is North America’s thin edge of the wedge with regards to this. I wonder how much Saudi cash there is behind this.

Look at all the shit that’s going on in the world and we can’t hurt anyone’s feelings because women get to vote.

The patent raw dishonesty of the QHC is laid bare in the posted article — where the QHC is keen to go after critics of Islam, but refuses to go after Islamist hate preachers, preachers who support Islamist war crimes. We must take concerted action against thIs new law, and the evil QHC .

    That’s the PLQ for ya.
They should have elected Pauline Marois and the Parti Quebecois.

The guy in front is bending to an empty rehal (bookstand) and presenting his backside to the korans. Takfir!

What I find very telling when islamic clerics or muslim leaders go on TV to cite the quran for how it is so just and respects diversity…. they NEVER have a quran with them to show us the verse or prove the verses used by ISIS are fake and out of context.

If the quran is so perfect and sharai law is all about Human Rights, why the fear for going on TV with a quran to prove their claims .

      • tom_billesley

They fear people who can read and comprehend.

Most muslims do not speak Arabic, but learn to recite the entire Koran in Arabic by age 10 if they are being educated in a muslim country. Most have no idea of the precise meaning of the words they are phonetically reciting. Also, I believe the muslim world enjoys a20% average literacy rate. So, most muslim adults are illiterate and cannot read in their own national language, but can recite the Koran in Arabic by age 10 because of “schooling”. Getting the picture?

The imams on Friday will be free to spew jew hatred and cite the quranic verses to murder gays as favour to allah.
But if a non-muslims points this out and says it in public they’ll be arrested for a hate-crime.

I wonder what will happen if someone holds up posters in public that will have a photo of ISIS throwing queers of roof tops along with their rape victims or babies beheaded by ISIS.

The feminists won’t complain, gays fear offending muslims and won’t complain , child advocate groups won’t complain , and yet the QHC will somehow be more offended by their implied hate-crime to attack islam is public or mock muslims.
The QHC may also find the gay tossing an act of homophobia to show the photo while not condemning the muslims actually killing gays.

As long as they’re the first people publicly caned by the morality police under the new sharia order, I’m fine with it.

All Human Rights Commissions should be tarred and feathered and driven out of town on a split rail.
They are nothing more than Kangaroo Courts.
All their past decisions should be reversed and their victims given total compensation.
