Donald Trump Sets Record, Hits 40 Percent in New Poll

Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner, hit the 40 percent marker in a recent Gravis Marketing poll. According to a report, this is the first time a candidate has reached above the 30 percent mark.

  • Drunk_by_Noon

As I’m want to say these days, Trump could eat a baby and his poll numbers wouldn’t decline.

    • Xavier

That’s word for word what I used to say about Hillary.

    • Maurixio Garciasanchez

You think he belongs to a white cannivals tribe that used to live up of the montains in Europe?

      • mauser 98

white cannivals? cannibals that travel by caravan?

  • BillyHW

The nation is tired of all the GOP elite faggots.

    • Clausewitz

Well I wouldn’t quite put it that way, but yeah, your right. BTW the RINO’s don’t have half the testosterone that light in their loafers crowd have.

    • pike bishop

It’s that and more. I’ve heard the early Apprentice episodes show he is tough, fair and the type of boss any hard worker would appreciate.
Everybody here* must have worked for a boss who could get the most out of you* with the least effort. I know I have.

  • Norman_In_New_York

Trump’s campaign was supposed to crash and burn by now and it could still happen, but he has already done us a big favor by revealing how out of touch the standard politicians are and forcing them to strive for relevance.

    • lolwut?

The biggest threat to Trump I think comes from business that relies heavily on cheap labor from third world nations.

I could also see someone, cartel or some country making an attempt on his life.

El Chapo Guzman ‘vows to make Donald Trump swallow his words’
        http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/centralamericaandthecaribbean/mexico/11736854/El-Chapo-Guzman-vows-to-make-Donald-Trump-swallow-his-words.html

If Trump becomes president U.S. will probably go to war with Mexico.

        • pike bishop

It wouldn’t really be a war, more like a campaign.

        • Justin St.Denis

“Mexican military” is as much of an oxymoron as “police intelligence”. This “war” you predict might last an hour or more! They MAY have to reschedule Pat Sajak and Vanna White to a later time slot to accommodate news coverage of the “war with Mexico.”

BTW, maybe Jerry Seinfeld could give you a leg up as a comedy writer.

          • pike bishop

Don & his army will be home for supper with a the whole Mexican army in his tow ready to unleash on ISIS.

          • luna

Iraq war sure was quick and easy.

If Trump becomes president, I’ll probably have to go back to lambasting “conservatives”.

          • pike bishop

The supply lines are so much shorter. The closest and easiest problems are the first on the list, then on to bigger things.

        • pike bishop

POTUS Trump will have el Chapo begging to get sent to a super-max, if he (chapo) lives long enough.

      • pike bishop

He has upset the apple cart like no other. He burns really hot (and is really rich). IMO he has a lot of cross over appeal.

    • John

He has completely shifted the parameters of campaign discourse. It’s now possible to take on subjects ( immigration) that have been taboo for so long now, and that’s so very refreshing!

  • luna

The Republican presidential frontrunner is toxic among Hispanics, a voting bloc that could determine the outcome of the 2016 presidential race.

    • Justin St.Denis

Not if only US citizens are allowed to vote.

  • pike bishop

I have been following politics since the 70’s.
This is by far the most interesting man I’ve seen on the scene.

    • He is about to “Reagan” the election.

      • pike bishop

I was around for RR and IMO he was the greatest POTUS in my lifetime.
DT is a new phenomenon for a new era. The left have moved the goalposts to the point that the “honorable gentleman from across the aisle” days are over.

      • Clink9

Off topic, is this Reverend Ken of the “Lost Followers” ?

    • John

      Seconded!

  • Xavier

Love him or hate him, Trump has fuck you money and isn’t beholden to anyone. He has the potential to expose the administration’s lies and treasonous behavior, so he’s beneficial in that respect alone.

It’s nice to see everyone in D.C. afraid for a change – we should make it the new norm.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

What I love is seeing the media and the GOP establishment pull out all the stops in trying to smear him with everything they’ve got, and it’s not working at all, and they are so out of touch that they have no idea why all the usual tricks are not working.
He hates womynn: we don’t care!
They say he hates the Mexicans and the Asianss and we say: “so what!”
He not a real conservative, they say, and we say he’s more of one that any of you are.
This “fine bourbon, of an unknown provenance”, is beginning to be the best we have tasted in years.
So much so that we had forgotten they used to make it that good, while the experts tell us it’s not very good because the bottle it comes in is not fancy enough.

      • Justin St.Denis

I’m still waiting for Lindsay Graham to man-up on the whole Trump issue, but I suspect that powerful alpha males like Trump make Graham blush and go weak in the knees.

        • mauser 98

Graham is blush and weak in the knees.

        • pike bishop

The 17 R. candidates (any one of which is better than the present office holder) are children in the hands of a giant.

  • Justin St.Denis

Donald Trump, it turns out, is the Silent Majority’s best way to say “Fuck You AND that horse you rode in on” to the Republican political elites and others vested in maintaining the status-quo.

  • mauser 98

he will be threatened like Ross Perot
the big money will not roll over

    • The usurper should be facing a short drop with a sudden stop. I just wanna be the guy who pulls the handle.

    • John

You are quite right. All those worthless, crony capitalists whose bottom line depends entirely on cheap, imported labour are going to mount a huge campaign of defamation against him. I fully expect one hit job after another in the MSM until Trump is defeated.

      • mauser 98

GOP Republirats want amnesty more than Dems…cheap labour

        • k1992

Great choice of quote and definitely appropriate.

  • Get used to saying President Trump.
