‘Keep out the Mexicans and al-Qaeda’: with Donald Trump and his fans at the Iowa State Fair

‘Donnnaaallldd!!! Donnnaaaaallldd!!!’ Donald Trump was surrounded by fans. He looked happy. He took a bite out of a pork chop on a stick — eating one is a campaign ritual for every politician visiting the Iowa State Fair — and raised his arm in salute. ‘We love you,’ a woman shouted. Someone else yelled: ‘Save our country! Save America!’ No other Republican candidate visiting the fair — no candidate from either party — has generated such crowds and such excitement. ‘I touched him,’ said one woman running over to her friends.

‘I got a selfie.’

Keeping out the Mexicans and Al Queda is a laudable goal.
The more the ass clowns in the press try to denigrate him, the better he appears. They said horrible things about Reagan too, so I could care less what some lefty writer for the BBC thinks of him.
He really is beginning to scare the hell out of the GOP establishment and the left.

Will see when their next election is going come by , 50 million latinos could decide who the the next president will be

    • ntt1

all the more reason to mass deport.

      • Maurixio Garciasanchez

The Latin Americans in the US is 61 million, 11 of them are illegal and 50 million US citizens ,will see what’s happen in their next election.

        • mauser 98

          BS Maxi……probably 40 million illegals

          • Maurixio Garciasanchez

Could be the ones that refused to be counted.

          • mauser 98

            refused Maxi?… deport

          • Maurixio Garciasanchez

Some people are very shy or they might feel in panic , that means when they see the censorship officials they close their doors or walk away 🙂

          • mauser 98

            shy? panic?

          • Maurixio Garciasanchez

Yeah they are illegal over there , if you go over there completely illegal how will you feel?

          • mauser 98

            ???

          • Maurixio Garciasanchez

Who knows just like you imagine or think , maybe 100 million of them are illegals .

    • simus1

      The independent voters are key,

    • Clink9

That would involve getting out of bed and finding their way down to the polls.

      • mauser 98

        or rigged Diebold voting machines

    • Latinos do not vote as a block.

      • Clausewitz

You’re assuming that Pedro there can grasp an intellectual concept. That’s big assumption.

  • John

Trump may have more support among Latinos and women than is commonly thought.

Among all the potential candidates both Democrat and Republican, Trump is the only one that isn’t ‘wooden’ and predictable. All the others are too polished and too professional

  • Linda1000

There has been some talk about banning Trump from any future Republican candidate debates unless Trump declares he won’t run as an independent third party. Watch how many viewers turn off their TV sets if Trump is banned. People are tired of being dictated to by Washington.

  • Norman_In_New_York

The real test for Trump will come when oppo researchers start impugning his business practices and ethics and his political history. If he successfully stands up to that, he will win the White House.

    • Linda1000

I don’t think there have been any squeaky clean Presidents in the U.S. for quite some time. Hopefully, Trump will continue to fight back twice as hard when attacked.

  • luna

Trump isn’t interested in being a civil servant, he’s only interested in gaining some financial advantages for himself.

    • MRHapla

yeah, because multi-billionaire is not enough? he may be on an ego trip, but he likes to do things too

    • Clausewitz

Looks like the Democrap talking points were handed out early today.

      • luna

Sorry not a fan of the Donald.

        • Clausewitz

So then what would be your alternative? Inquiring minds want to know. Easy to complain. As I’ve told a large number of people who have worked for me, “Don’t bring me complaints, bring me solutions”.

          • luna

I like Dr Ben Carson. He’s smart, patriotic, not a politician, but a real leader in the best sense of the word.

          • Clausewitz

Yep, totally agree with you on that, but unfortunately he’ll never have the monetary and political support from the RINO’s in the GOP. Carson would make a great President. The first Black President would do so much better than the first Mulatto President.

          • luna

Polls have Carson is in the number two spot, behind Trump.

          • Clausewitz

Again, in Popularity he’s doing well, but when it comes to fund raising and backroom support, the RINO’s would never allow him to win.

          • luna

            Who are the RINOs?

          • Clausewitz

Republicans in name only. The old guard pseudo Democrat lite wing of the GOP.

          • luna

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. You mean registered republican voters that vote during the primary?

Often democrats change their registration during the republican primary so they can vote for the least electable republican candidate. Not sure if that’s what you mean.

          • Clausewitz

No I mean the establishment Republicans who are fighting harder against the conservative wing of their party than they are fighting against Democrats. These RINO’s hate the Tea Party with a passion. The idea of a party platform of Constitutionalism scares the hell out of them. The McCains of the world do not want change, they just want to be in charge of the purse strings, the committees. and the ability to make appointments. Living by actual conservative values is not in their life views, and that’s why they will do anything they can to block the election of Carson, Trump, or Cruz.
