What Are Palestinians Doing With U.S. Money?

“Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah did not tell the visiting U.S. Congressmen that the $4.5 billion the Americans invested in promoting Palestinian democracy went down the drain or ended up in secret Swiss bank accounts. Nor did he tell the Congressman that the Palestinians do not have a functioning parliament or a free media under the PA in the West Bank or under Hamas in the Gaza Strip. And, of course, Hamdallah never told the Congressman that for Palestinians, presidential and parliamentary elections remain a remote dream.”

Where did some of the Palestinian aid money go? For one thing, some of it must have gone into the U.S. media establishment’s pockets, for for certain they will be purposely looking the other way on this. Wink, wink, nod, nod. This is political-media world we have, these days.

It makes you wonder how effective our foreign aid is. How much money would be save if we didn’t give to Islamic hell holes, corrupt countries, and other useless causes.
There are worthy organisations and projects happening out there. Some with government assistance, some without. Seek those out and make a difference. Don’t leave it to governments or faceless bureaucracies.

  • What does one expect? If one hands over billions of dollars to people who use children as human shields, the odds are that the cash isn’t used to build playgrounds.

The signs of corruption have been practically out in the open, yet foreign ministries keep throwing their taxpayers’ money away over their own pathological obsession with a phantom peace process.
