Chart shows that Canada has bigger problems than just oil

Frito Bandito“I think Mexico’s just a cheaper place to produce, and you have enough human capital and engineering skills to produce almost everything you can produce in Canada and do it a lot cheaper,”

I hope Mexico has sent Kathleen Wynne a thank you card.

Because demanding that Canadian workers (or American workers for that matter) adopt a third-world income and lifestyle could have absolutely no downsides.
These fools think that by exporting jobs to Mexico they are becoming more competitive, but in reality, they are destroying their very own markets by impoverishing their own consumers.
Tariffs are the only answer to this nonsense.

      shred NAFTA/GATT

      • Drunk_by_Noon

I condemn their lack of diversity.

top 1% of richest in Mexico are mostly white ..look like they are from Norway and live in a submarine

          • Drunk_by_Noon

We call them “hermosas” or the “Beautiful Mexicans”.

We see them here with their beautiful wives, and even more beautiful and well-behaved children.
            100% Spanish – 0% Indian.
They really do look white but their English always sucks, when they can speak it at all.

            or call them Democrats

          • Drunk_by_Noon

Their women are way better looking than any registered Democrat that I have ever seen. They all look like this.

            yes…

      • Free trade has not been the boon to all that was promised. The economy may have grown but the benefits accrued to the elite alone.

        • Alain

To top that off we do not even have or practise free trade between provinces. I think that should be the first requirement before extending it to foreign countries.

          • Justin St.Denis

Isn’t that just “oh so Canadian” though? We really do have a gift for shooting ourselves in the foot.

          • mauser 98

yeah .. will some one explain that one

          • pike bishop

As with the TFW’s, money earned in Alberta is sent or spent in eastern Canada & totally lost to the local economy while creating a false economy at the delivery point.

    • They are well aware of that.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

I think they are only aware that if the cut costs and increase profits they get a higher bonus.

    • Alain

Most of them are pretty much international corporations who hold no loyalty to any particular country. Their sole motivation is money.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Regardless of where their loyalties lay, our respective governments have the power to curtail this.

        • Alain

Totally agree on that point. They also have the power to deal with the mass importation of Muslims but choose not to.

      • mobuyus

That’s what business is all about.

  • mauser 98

Mexican workers are routinely robbed, raped , murdered… pollution labour laws etc ignored. NAFTA/GATT regulations ignored
70,000 dead re drug cartel wars
and China building huge docks in Mexico

  • pike bishop

Oh…is that because Mexico hasn’t seen 40 degrees below 0 Fahrenheit since the last ice age?
