Camera Saves Cop from Racial Hostility — Again

Another camera saves another cop: This time in Texas, from a black state legislator who in a public hearing accused a cop of racism.

“Last month, Garnet Coleman held a hearing to talk about the controversial arrest of Sandra Bland, the Chicago woman who was arrested and later found dead in a county jail,” said the anchor for KHOU news in Houston. “Coleman said he had also been mistreated during a traffic stop in Austin county.”

Just asking about that Newsweek cover. Was that “all white toasters are really racist” screed for resl, or was it made up?

Making an accusation knowing it to be false …
Can someone tell me. Is this a crime/felony/breach of the law or whatever in the USA?
Seems to me if anyone does such then on being found guilty they should receive the penalty that their lying accusation would have brought on the innocent they accused.

Yes, it’s a crime if you make a false criminal complaint.
It’s also a claim that has “presumed damages” civilly (in most states) for accusing someone of an illegal act.

To the leftists all must be servants to their narrative. And if it takes lies to put forward their narrative then so be it, any who do not want to dance with them are therefore racists and bigots homophobes and islamaphobes and perhaps transphobics.

It is illegal, the problem is they will not be charged by the police, but the person who was slandered will have to file a complaint and then the police will take action. The lefties will go full bore to sue in cases like this but those on the right tend not to.

My toaster turns white bread brown — so is that racist?

    • Alain

      Oh dear.

      • Frances

Mine goes one better – turns the bread black if it gets a chance.

Then you’ve got a very progressive toaster 🙂

My wife and kids think I’m weird for my burnt toast preference.
          Oh, soon:
Burnt toast, spread with bacon grease from the fridge, salt and pepper and garden tomatoes.

No. But the reverse would be.
