Why hasn’t Mulcair condemned Linda McQuaig’s call for an oil sands moratorium? The answer is obvious.

Star NDP candidate Linda McQuaig says that “a lot of the oil sands oil may have to stay in the ground if we’re going to meet our climate change targets.”

It is really nice to know that Linda McQuaig has taken it upon herself to shoulder the heavy burden of saving the Planet on behalf of Canada for the NDP.
Mulcair is lucky to have such a savvy mouth piece dictating his policy.

Good idea!! Great ! Shut down the oil sands. We don’t need it. We can buy oil from Venezuela and the Saudis. We must meet those climate change targets.
We really don’t need to waste 10 billion dollars a year on agriculture. . To much carbon being emitted. Shut that down also. Lots of people want to sell us subsidized food. It is actually cheaper to purchase our food from the USA.

What else can we shut down? Just about everything ,if you care to think about it.
We can all depend on the Gov’t to keep us happy.

Can the Gov’t depend on us to keep collecting their taxes? That depends.

I like Ezra’s last comments in his piece, where he says that all of the oposition parties, plus the establishment media complex, oppose Alberta energy, or should I say all western Canadian energy. The trouble is is that the Conservatives will lose this election. Count on it. AND one wonders what will happen to the economy after that. It will be a repeat of what is happening now in Alberta, aND in Ontario..

Are the Libs and NDP getting help from groups in the U.S.? Aren’t these the same group who want to benefit the U.S. economy by crippling Canada’s economy?
