Egyptian Islamic State affiliate threatens to kill Croatian national Tomislav Salopek

An Islamic State affiliate in Egypt has threatened to kill a Croatian man kidnapped in Cairo last month within 48 hours if “Muslim women” jailed in Egypt are not freed.

The man is the first foreigner to be abducted and threatened with death by militants in Egypt since an Islamist insurgency erupted two years ago.

In a video posted online by the jihadis, the hostage identifies himself as Tomislav Salopek, working for a French company, and appears kneeling at the feet of a hooded man holding a knife.

You can watch the video here if you wish, note it is hosted on a Jihadi site.

There’s speculation that the knife wielder is Jihadi John

    • Always possible but until he speaks…

Muh, so what. There is not a thing you can do about the problem, even if your solution is the one that would work.
There are reams of geniuses jetting around the globe, creating a whole new lifestyle and need for their huge brains trying to determine how to solve this problem.
So far no one can agree who is really responsible, so off to the next meeting.
Pretty sure that when they begin taxing the be-jeepers out of us, it will settle down. Right?
This is only going to continue, round the world, and when it finally reaches a crescendo, POW, TSWHTF on all of us Peon’s.
