Nuclear Iran: Is the U.S. Really Suicidal?

If Obama and the others who signed the catastrophic nuclear agreement with Iran on the eve of Laylat al-Qadr, the Eve of Destiny, a few days before the end of the Ramadan fast, had studied a little history, they would know that the Battle of Qadisiyyah in 636, in which the Persians suffered a disastrous defeat at the hands of the Arabs, has not yet ended. They would know that Islam had, in fact, been imposed on the Sassanid Empire by force, and that, in protest, the Persians adopted Shi’a Islam, a form of the religion that deviated from and changed the Islam of the Arabs, as a way of rebelling and continuing the fight.

If the West had studied that important event in Islamic history, they would understand they were enabling Iran to achieve a nuclear bomb and accelerate the national religious war between us, the Arabs, and the Shi’ite Iranians. For Iran’s mullahs, the showdown is meant to be apocalyptic.

Well, what a manly little beard.

    • Blacksmith

Was this supposed to be on the Trudeau thread? If so I agree, slipping back in the vernacular of my youth, what a fag beard!

      • Icebow

        You’re right of course.

Remember that Obama was brought up with Shia doctrine in Indonesia, whatever religion he may claim to be.

If Obama was raised as a Shiite, then what is the explanation for him giving the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood the key to the White House?

      • Obama is as bad as any spy.

      • UCSPanther

Because O is a dangerous incompetent.

        • Xavier

A solid four yards on every carry isn’t incompetence.

          • Minicapt

What about the absence of the defence?

            Cheers

Maybe he hates the USA more than anything. Nobody really knows much about him.

The key here from the article is that Iran is targeting the Sunnis first. In the encounters with ISIS, the Iranians have hardly excelled on the battlefield and there appears to be a stalemate taking shape in Iraq. Another flashpoint is the Straits of Hormuz. For all their bluster, the Iranians have yet to take on the Fifth Fleet.

    • And they aren’t doin so well in Yemen, watch for Bahrain to hot up.

    • UCSPanther

I understand that Iran took one heck of a beating during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s, and that war was a stalemate through and through.

They may be all boastful about war, but they certainly end up falling flat on their faces when it comes time to back up their talk. The Ayatollahs probably know this, and therefore, want nuclear weapons to “even the odds” in their favor.

Knowing their questionable level of luck though, I wager they will end being more of a danger to themselves than others…

Don’t forget that Rumsfeld gave the weapons and the US’s hands are not clean when it comes to both parties.

The U.S. knows it cannot defeat Iran in a conventional war so they have to find the best time to strike.

Both sides in a way agree with this because even Clinton voted for Iraq in 2002-03.

This whole idea of the Democrats being weak and Republicans being strong is just left-right speak when there are such things as liberal interventionists and neoconservatives that basically agree with the same things.

I think Iran can be a partner but all this I believe does go back to 1979. People just want Iran back under U.S. influence. There are videos online showing that they have been complaining about Iran being a month away from acquiring a nuke since 1984. That shows you right there that the right wing media is lying and so are those that despise Iran. Anyone that says this program about Iran is a complete liar or just parroting the media they follow.

“Is the US really suicidal?” – No, but their leadership is homicidal.

    • Millie_Woods

      Obamicidal

      • Maggat

Gotta get that one into the dictionary.

    • Paulla

The U.S. is not suicidal. Obama is running it and hates the American way of life. He sees things entirely opposite to the way patriotic Americans see them. He has a third world dictator point of view.

  • Blacksmith

This wouldn’t bother me in the slightest if I thought they would keep it in the neighborhood with the exception of Israel. However this was a bad deal and still is, any part of the death cult of pisslam having a nuke is a bad deal.

  • Brett_McS

The left is suicidal … the end point of all nihilism.

This is what the Iran deal has caused:

This just shows that the right only wants war.

Obama doesn’t see it as suicide, he sees it as divine glory.
