one of my first jobs was loading chairlifts at Whistler BC. that black forest tune and several more by Acker bloody Bilk were in heavy rotation. the music was programmed and piped in by the local jukebox king who donated 45s that weren’t selling. it was possible to hear this and a handful of other tunes 5 or 6 times a shift all season.
Awesome. All I need now is a bugout bag.

They’re all beautiful but my favorites are the 1st and 3rd photos. The latter is almost magical (the effect of the sunlight, partly) and sad too, because of the dilapidated condition of the obviously abandoned cabin. Notice the old clothesline on the far right of the picture.
Damp forests look really luscious from here in droughty California.
