So what choice does Israel have?

I’m curious to know what course of action Israel may pursue.

Will they destroy Iran’s nuclear installations?

Can they destroy Iran’s nuclear installations?

Who will side with Israel if they decide to destroy Iran’s nuclear installations?

Does sufficient political will exist within Israel to act?

How much time does Israel have to act?

What will Obama’s response be? Assuming he’s still in office.

Is Obama right? Will a terror exporting nation sworn to Israel’s destruction and governed by believers of the Shia Apocalypse act rationally and adhere to all terms of the treaty?

We will soon find out the answers to these questions when Defense Secretary Carter visits Israel and attempts to shut up, or at least neutralize, Netanyahu with a package of military goodies such as F-35s, much of which would be paid for by American taxpayers. At the very least, Netanyahu should hold out for a sizable quantity of Massive Ordnance Penetrators (15-ton super bunker busters).

I have read, somewhere, that the ‘bunker busters’ are on the list. Let us hope they are on the way.

    • Not sure F-35’s are such a great gift.

      • Clausewitz

Much of the F-35 complaints seem to come from people with dubious funding backgrounds. I’ve had a chance to talk to five pilots of the F-35 (2 Marines, 1 Naval Aviator, and 2 Air Force former A-10 hogs), and to a man they loved the f-35 for the roles they will need it for. They did state that there is a high learning curve in order to get the most out of the plane, but to them that is a good quality if the US is going to export it. The feeling being that they’ll always have the upper hand.

Israel loves the F-15 and has done wondrous modification

Or just rig up some surplus/retired DC-10/L-1011 as UAV loaded with 100,000lbs of C-4,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

personally, I’d go after every dam and power plant,,,can’t get the nuke bunkers? knock out the electricity.

Islam wants the 6th century?? give it to them

  • At some point there will be an attack in the region

When it happens, you can be sure the oil flow from this area will be disrupted for some time.

It will be a world economy shaking reality.

    • But who will go Nuclear?

    • Clausewitz

Funny, but wouldn’t a new pipeline into the US help stem the effect that would come about from that eventuality? And that is why Obama vetoed it.

    Attacking nuclear installations is meaningless.
Destroying large numbers of those evildoers who presently hold power in iran would be a noble goal.

  • I’m curious to know what course of action Israel may pursue.

Will they destroy Iran’s nuclear installations? – I doubt it, at least not till the last minute, when it will be too late. Why do I say that, because they have been hesitating to do so for the last ten years, and allowed a small problem to become a big problem.

Can they destroy Iran’s nuclear installations? – They could technically, but I assume they worry about starting a massive war where millions of Iranian soldiers (cannon fodder) will be sent via Lebanon to Israel’s borders.

Who will side with Israel if they decide to destroy Iran’s nuclear installations? No one – Israel will be reviled as usual by all and sundry.

Does sufficient political will exist within Israel to act? I doubt it – lots of talk and no action so far.

How much time does Israel have to act? None. They should have acted by now if they meant business. Instead they are just hoping to luck out.

What will Obama’s response be? Assuming he’s still in office. He will do his best to harm Israel always and by whatever means at his disposal. The agreement with Iran is just such a hate-gift from Obama.

Is Obama right? Will a terror exporting nation sworn to Israel’s destruction and governed by believers of the Shia Apocalypse act rationally and adhere to all terms of the treaty? You must be kidding – yes, of course you are.

What is the answer then? Bomb Iran nuclear facilities and Iran ayatollahs already!

    • You read the answer sheet!

      • Clausewitz

They abandoned Israel the day that Jarrett walked into the White House. It’s just now they’re brazen enough to not give a shit that everyone now knows it.

I think Ozero and Ketchup should be charged with treason.

Of course, the EU cabal was of no help either. Germany already eyeing the big $$ export contracts with Iran along with Russia and China.

That is what I have to say.

History indicates that when backed into a corner, Israel will strike first, even at high risk to self.
