Project Seen

…is a typeface that is concerned with privacy and the interception of our communications by the NSA.

It automatically strikes through so called “spook words” as they are written.

Spooky;) Have a read through of their “trigger” words.

There aren’t any directions with the download but for Windows users, unzip it, open the Project Seen folder and then the Project Seen sub-folder, then right-click on one of the .otf files, you’ll get a drop down menu with ‘Install’ as an option. That will make the Seen fonts appear in the font selection list in whatever programs you’re using, like Chrome or MS Word – you’ll have to choose the font to make it active. Of course, you can always switch back to your old font if you don’t want to use Seen all the time.

I’m shaking my head here; self censoring word processing?
How’s the recipient supposed to comprehend the message?
Does it un-censor with a key?

It’s for warning the writer – the recipient control the font that they read, which would not contain the strikeouts.

Needs to become a Facebook option, for making Social Justice statements to the community.
