FBI says it thwarted Islamic State-inspired July 4 attacks

U.S. authorities foiled attacks planned around the Fourth of July, arresting more than 10 people in the month before the holiday who were inspired by Islamic State online recruitment, FBI Director James Comey said on Thursday.

“I do believe our work disrupted efforts to kill people likely in connection with July 4th,” Comey told reporters at the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He did not detail the number of plots uncovered or their targets.

Separately, a national security source said multiple overseas plots by Islamic State sympathizers had also been halted in recent days.

Pure BS , there is no way the Government would warn people at the end of June that the FBI expects some type of quranic inspired terrorism acts on July 4 fourth which would have tipped off the terrorists that they are being watched.
The NAVY seals NEVER announce their plans or reveal a crisis that are sent in to neutralize because they rely on stealth where the enemy exists in a false reality to believe they are not detected.

It’s all theater. If there had been an attack, they’d be using it to justify more privacy invasion, more power, and more funding.
