Despite what you may have read online, there was no hate crime attack in Myrtle Beach over the July 4th holiday weekend.
An article posted on the Newswatch 33 web site says two black teenagers were beaten to death by white supremacists in Myrtle Beach.
Police and city officials say nothing like that actually happened.
“There’s no reason for that (story) to exist, it’s false, it’s made up. I can’t explain that,” said city spokesman Mark Kruea.
Kruea says unfortunately, some people will believe the hoax, so Myrtle Beach police had to post on Facebook and Twitter saying that “…this story is false and did not occur.”
Kruea says the city hates to give the fake story more attention than it deserves, but in this case, it’s necessary. (so blacks do not go around killing white people any more than usual – please read the comments section at the parody website and weep, and weep some more)
Meanwhile, in the real world, 40 blacks attack a single white man. Police unsure if hate crime.
