Rotherham: Muslim taxi drivers threaten strike action against new regulations designed to prevent child rape

More than 100 furious Rotherham taxi drivers have threatened strike action over new regulations designed to combat child sexual exploitation.

A demonstration was held outside Rotherham Town Hall this afternoon, as Commissioner Mary Ney confirmed her intention to introduce the new policy from July 6.

The new licensing regime will require all drivers to install CCTV into their vehicles in the next three months.

They will also have to demonstrate they are a ‘fit and proper person’ to hold a licence, with licence holders needing to have a BTEC qualification and a satisfactory level of English.

    Well, racist, eh.

    • Aw crud they seem to have removed the comments there was a great from some guy whose launched a dozen human rights complaints yada yada yada…

  • DMB
  • Ron MacDonald

    Let them strike.

    • Islam Is a Crock

Don’t let them strike. Sack the lot of them. Anyone who protests against CCTV cameras obviously doesn’t want their movements recorded for potential prosecution purposes…

    • WalterBannon

Round them all up in the middle of the night and then drop them in the North Atlantic about 200 miles off the coast

  • Martin B

Every one of those stinking baboons believes that if he’s prevented from raping infidels in accordance with sharia law then he’s being oppressed.

Every one of them needs to be castrated.

    • Why not just send them on to 72 virgin land?

      • just a thought

Welcome to Muslime PairODice. You took your chances, and here you are. Can’t win ’em all, eh? Well, don’t be disappointed, there’s an up side, and that’s our 72 Virgins. Yep, 72 is all we got, so just take a number and be seated. No pushing or shoving, now. They’ll call you when it’s your turn.

        Now Serving Shahid 890,456,00,329.

        • Soooo, what did the virgins do to deserve this, vote for Obama?

          • just a thought

            Don’t they all?

  • Not your DiNero sort of taxi drivers at all, eh?

    • dance…dancetotheradio

      Traffeesh Biqqul?

  • Clear Thinker

Caedite eos. Novit ennum Dominus qui sunt eis.

  • moraywatson

    Excellent. Now don’t back down.

  • dagawker

With normal logic, this would be seen as a good thing.

    • Not in Rotherham.

      • Justin St.Denis

Or Great Britain, actually. They will back down, surrender, give in. It’s just a matter of time. The goose isn’t quite cooked yet, but it is already quite dead, I’m afraid.

Hate to rain on your parade, but the officials will find a way to cave and a politically correct rationale for doing so…….

  • bob e

love this news .. moosies are freakin’ out !! ha ha ha ..
taxi jihad on the way …

  • Ed

They do seem to love waving their arms in the street… no matter where…

    • You can’t teach that.

      • What do we need? Turkish water cannon! When do we need them? Now!

      • Justin St.Denis

        Not in 1500 years…….

  • Alain

It however remains imperative not to point out that for some strange reason none of this was required prior to accepting Muslims in the country. Sorry but the horse long ago bolted from the stable.

    • Justin St.Denis

As I said, their goose is not quite cooked yet, but it is quite dead already.

  • FactsWillOut

If I was a taxi driver, I’d protest, too.
Of course, actually arresting the miscreants and enablers is out of the question.
Anyone who thinks that forcing CCTV into taxis is a good idea us an idiot.

  • Brett_McS

I’m guessing they don’t allow Uber in Rotherham. If they did, the Pakis would end up driving each other around and that would be the end of it. But instead of allowing competition they just pile on regulation after regulation.

  • Xavier

Apparently Rotherham has a goat shortage.

  • DVult

    1. Allow customers to call for a non-puslum taxi driver.
    2. Give them 24 hours to agree to install the camera. After that take those who refuse and bend them over the hoods of their taxis and insert two pork chops, three scoops of lard, 4 large pickles, 5 pork souflakis, 6 boiled eggs, 7 tennis balls, 8 hot dogs and a bowling ball.

    • just a thought

Isn’t that a bit excessive? I mean, 7 tennis balls, when 6 would do? Some people overdo everything. 🙂

      • DVult

        There was a sale.

        • just a thought

And extremist, AND a Capitalist consumer?! Oh, the outrage of it all.

      • Justin St.Denis

That’s life! There will always be extremists!

        • just a thought

Gotta live with it, I guess.

          • Justin St.Denis

Those tennis-ball extremists are notorious. Always have been. Always will be. Always stuffing that ONE extra ball in there. They’ll never learn.

          • just a thought

What a world! Why did I have to sell all my tennis ball stocks?.

          • Justin St.Denis

You, too? OMG! I feel so discriminated against by those bastard racists! What have they got against us for having more “green” than they do! They are simply racists. Racists are everywhere and cause most of the problems in the world today, along with witches and magicians and their magic spells and sorcery. I despair……

And I want my ball stocks back!

    • Justin St.Denis

I like the way your mind works. 😉

    • Brett_McS

      Point 1 is called Uber.

    • pdxnag

      ^1 only

    • AlanUK

You forgot the partridge in a pear tree …

  • Xavier

I feel so stupid for not seeing this.

  • Don’t they have Uber in Rotherham?

  • Canadian

This will take all their fun from driving taxis!

  • cmh

they’re not worried about the cameras…they’re worried about actually having to learn english…lol

  • Exile1981

If they banned people with a history of sexual assault or violence type crimes from driving taxi there would be no muzzi drivers.

  • Ezekiel 36 26

If I lived in Rotherham I think I’d rather walk rather than take a cab.

    • Ottawa Eyes

If I lived in Rotherham I think I’d rather walk in a torrential thunder storm with gale force winds, rather than take a cab.

    • WalterBannon

If I lived in Rotherham my nick name would be Paul Kersey…

  • Vic Jenkins

In this case the taxi drivers are right. It wasn’t lack of CCTV that led to the 1400 plus rapes of minors. It was the police and the local authority who deliberately ignored what was going on. Remember that not a single authority figure has been held to account. This invasive CCTV demand is just a way of pretending to do sth while actually deflecting attention from the real issue.

  • They monopolize the taxi industry in parts of London. It’s one way to control the women. They can’t just call a cab and get dropped off at a women’s shelter (or anywhere else) without being reported.

  • just a thought

    just found this. it’s a little back-story
No wonder they are so brazen.

  • Keith Dixon

Don’t they already have to prove they’re fit & proper? Is advanced CBR check not normal practice?
