CBLDF Writes About “Cartoonists Under Fire” while ignoring This Cartoonist who was Literally Under Fire

Bosch Fawstin: The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, which I’ve been a supporter of until now, just released their issue of “Defender” which focuses on “Cartoonists Under Fire”, and they completely ignore the Mohammad cartoon contest & Garland jihadist attack where this cartoonist was Literally Under Fire. I’m pissed off. Bad enough I work in an industry that’s dominated by gutless leftists, but even the one place that supposedly defends Free Speech doesn’t give a shit about Defending Free Speech if it disagrees with it. This Completely undercuts the idea of what kind of speech Should be protected.

To Hell with them.

I take it that these are representative of his gutless leftist colleagues?

    • BillyHW

The one on the left sounds like Michael Coren.

We definitely needs a weekly “slap the sh-t out of a leftist” day. Do it for the children to help alleviate stress.

  • Wrap a “koran in bacon” and shoot day it on 9/11.

    Support free speech.

“If I am not for myself, who will be?
    If not now, when?”

    Sorry Bosch,
    You were expecting too much.
When the trickle of cartooning articles in the mainstream media focus on re-imagining classic super-heroes as what they never were,
    Thor was not a woman,
    Captain America was not black,
And no super hero ever was a muslim,
    Or explicitly gay,
Then you’ve got to know you’re not getting back up from these people.

The first couple generations of comic book writers and artists were adults trying to make a living by making entertainment for kids. Nowadays, the people creating the work are man-child fanboys.

There are a few exceptional graphic novels, but in general, today’s comics take themselves far to seriously.
