U.S. court decision bodes well for Omar Khadr case, his lawyers say

A U.S. court decision overturning the conviction of a Guantanamo Bay detainee is the “nail in the coffin” for the case against Canadian Omar Khadr, his attorneys said Friday.

“It confirms that Omar spend more than 12 years in prison without any legal justification,” Edmonton lawyer Nate Whitling said, confident the ruling concerning an alleged Al Qaeda recruiter would lead to Khadr’s case also being overturned.

This is the reason why they shouldn’t have taken him prisoner.

    Turdeau couldn’t be happier now.

    • You bet, he can just taste that riding nomination announcement.

He can’t be worse than what they have now.

I can see the local ads now “Thumbs up for Omar and Justin!”

I wonder how the victims including family members feel about this ridiculous ruling.

Trying him in a court with the wrong jurisdiction doesn’t invalidate the evidence.

The courts are trying through Khadr to show the elected government’s in the U.S. and Canada who REALLY runs the show.

  • He admitted to killing Christopher Speer. He did not deny it.

Make no mistake- this thing was planned from the get-go. Neither the American nor Canadian governments want Khadr punished for his crimes.

How many millions will our inept government give him when he sues? Old man Trudeau started the ball rolling by making Canada into a third world country with his multiculturalism BS. All though Canadians are letting it happen and we are not doing a damn thing about it. There isn’t one politician that is willing to stop this insanity so what are we left with, the destruction of a great country.
