Muslim Name Change Teacher Hid Terror-Linked Mega Mosque from Potential Employer

A Muslim teacher who claims to have changed his name from Hamid Mahmood to Harry Mason in order to get more job interviews spent years at a terror-linked mega mosque in Dewsbury, in West Yorkshire.

Mahmood took to the BBC, Buzzfeed, and other news outlets to report that after changing his name on his CV/resume, he finally started receiving job offers.

‘changed his name from Hamid Mahmood to Harry Mason in order to get more job interviews’

Bullshit. This is England we’re talking about. If a guy named Harry Mason changed his name to Hamid Mahmood he’d get more job interviews.

“Mahmood took to the BBC, Buzzfeed, and other news outlets to report that after changing his name on his CV/resume, he finally started receiving job offers.”

Something not quite right here — did he start receiving job OFFERS or job INTERVIEWS? Big difference. Was this just a careless error or does it make the whole article suspect?

I’d file this one under the Coke can-on-the- plane story.

Why would an Englishman voluntarily hire a paki if he can hire one of his own kind?

So if you make an effort to fit it, and stop pushing your totalitarian supremacist attitude into people’s faces and lives, you might actually be accepted. Is there a lesson to be learned here?

  • Or maybe its just that the people to whom he sent resumes under his own name googled him and found his web resume ( http://hamidmahmood.co.uk/about/ ) which starts out this way:

فاضل جامعة تعليم الاسلام ، ديزبري

    Tradition Islamic al-‘Alimiyyah and Ijazah
Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury – West Yorkshire

B.A. (Hons). Abrahamic Religions. (Theology / Philosophy)

    Heythrop College, University of London

M.A. Islam and the West. (History)
    Queen Mary, University of London

PGCE – Post Graduate Certificate in Education
    St Mary’s University College

‘Once asked which denomination I follow…’

    ‘…I replied:

Which he then follows with a lengthy dump of his personal history which is nothing more than an obfuscation (sorry, taqiyya – or is it Kitman?)
    Hmmm…
“Thank yo for you application, we don’t need an Islamic scholar at present.”
