Yes, that is a real thing:
An eternal temptation, all year!
I watched a new episode of the Simpsons a couple of days ago. Put it out of its misery. Oh, and Harry Shearer has quit. That means no Mr. Burns, no Smithers, no Flanders, no principal Skinner – it will work out well.
It’s still popular with the important Under-8 demographic, so expect a few more seasons yet.
I used to love the Simpsons, but I haven’t watched it in a decade. There is an almost daily discussion in our house about when we are going to get rid of cable TV. There is nothing on that can’t be accessed from other sources, and it’s very expensive. I don’t even watch TV news any more. Any screen time I have now is spent watching my YouTube subscriptions. They are more interesting and just as professionally produced as anything on network TV. Cable TV will go the way of print newspapers in the next few years.
When I saw that Sun Media was on its last legs thanks to the oligarchs like Mr Rogers&Co, I canned the cable TV.
It’s a national holey day!
I practically never eat anything with sugar in it but I make a very occasional exception (a few times a year) for a batter donut.
I don’t have a sweet tooth to speak of…I have a PROTEIN tooth, which tends to cost a lot more money at the supermarket.
