Hamilton: First Muslim awards night hopes to ‘inspire’ community

Hamilton will become the seventh Canadian city to celebrate Muslim academic excellence as it hosts the Educational Muslim Achievement Awards Night (EMAAN).

Honouring Muslim youth in the community, EMAAN will be at Carmen’s Banquet Hall presenting trophies and scholarships to students who have excelled in academics, athletics and community leadership.

There will be eight $500 scholarships handed out at the event. Those scholarships will be awarded for various achievements, including athletics, journalism and literature, scientific innovation, Qur’anic recitation and community leadership…

  • On the bright side, the government forcing its peasantry to sponsor a Qur’anic (rhymes with mor’onic) Recitation Award reveals the purpose of their fraudulent “Separation of Church and State” slogan. Like so many such slogans, their Marxist purpose is to bludgeon the indigenous culture out of their host civilization.

I can see it now: in the category of best beheading we have….. in the category of best mohamed impersonator we have…. in the category of terrorist of the year, we have decided to award it omar khadr

Because we all know the Canadian economy is suffering from a shortage of people with Qur’anic recitation skills.

One islamists from CAIR tried to boast that 3 recent Nobel Prizes went to muslims.
Well he had it partly right but didn’t tell the TV host that 2 of the Prizes went to women that fought the islamic misogyny for domestic abuse and honour killings while they were threatened with death by other muslims.
Only a muslim islamists from CAIR would rush forward to take the credit for a disaster right on National TV .

They haven’t invented anything for over 500 years , and once they kill off all the hard working smart people on Earth they will be back to oil lamps and donkeys.

      • Islamist

        Uhhhhmmmmmmm….. donkeys!

      • P_F

Pray tell what they invented before those ‘500’ years???

  • Dana Garcia

Muslim academic excellence — in the kufar schools? I thought that was haram. Maybe they have a prize for beating up classmates, most bruises in a week etc.

    • Yo Mama

Those are the failures. You only get a passing grade for a stoning and an A+ for a full beheading!

  • Gary

These are just more bogus Awards that muslims hand to each other so that after the jihad terrorism the Mother’s and Mosques can pretend to be ” Shocked, shocked I tell you ” to the media that Jihad-jane and little Ahmed were good children with lots of Awards.
Right, they wanted to be a Doctor to volunteer in Africa at an Orphanage for autistic children with Aids and cancer.

    Blah blah ,blah blah blah.

  • Clausewitz

First Muslim to count to ten wins the grand prize. Nobody won this last year.

  • If there is a plethora of free thought in the Islamic world, why does it resemble the seventh century?
