PBS Hack Ken Burns: We’re in the Middle of Another Civil War

There are plenty of terrible commencement speakers out there. Most are also boring. And when you pay Ken Burns to come out and speak, you’re insuring that everyone will be bored because boring people is what Burns became famous for.

Since Ken Burns is famous for exploiting the Civil War to make PBS seem relevant, he tried to bring the Civil War to Washington University in St. Louis.

Yeah yeah whatever, some eloi pansy talking tough to other eloi pansies.

Tell you what eloi, if we are in another civil war, then could we skip all the talking and just jump ahead to the Fort Sumter part? I’m kind of sick of listening to you.

Oh, and a little advice? If you are building an army for war, drafting comfortable, whiny, well-to-do video game addicts is probably not the best recruitment decision you could make.

Ken Burns is a typical lib who sees political gain as more important than truth. He surrendered to raza Mexicans who demanded that he re-edit his WWII doc to show them as having a big role in winning the war. In fact, Mexicans were a tiny percentage of those who served.

    • From the article: “Ken Burns observed that the Hispanic population during WWII was only 1.4 percent.”

Amazing. The offical number I keep finding for today is 17%, and I assume it’s actually higher (those pesky illegals being so hard to keep track of).
