Counter-terror police swoop on London home as ISIS plot to recruit schoolgirl is dramatically foiled

Counter-terror detectives have dramatically foiled a London schoolgirl’s plan to join Islamic State terrorists

Scotland Yard swooped on the 16-year-old girl’s family home in Hackney after it emerged she was planning to flee to Syria after finishing her GCSEs next week.

The trip had reportedly been organised by her older sister, a known Islamic State recruiter who ran away to become a jihadi bride last year.

But the plan was foiled after undercover reporters from the Daily Mail were asked by the girl’s sister to accompany her to the Middle East.
