UK: Police Warned To Not Wear Uniforms As They May Trigger Muslims

Police officers are being warned not to wear their uniforms on public transport or talk about their jobs on social media in case they are targeted by Islamic State.

The country’s most senior counter-terrorism officer said police across Britain would be given ‘common-sense’ advice in briefings about their personal security.

Speaking after addressing the Police Federation conference, Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said: ‘Every officer will be given a fresh briefing on their personal security.
