In March, Madison Reid, 46, was convicted of manslaughter in the July 2011 slaying of Bruce Archambault, 56.

Court heard that Reid, who had surgery transitioning her into a woman in 2001, was particularly sensitive to insults and had been called a “faggot” by Archambault just prior to a violent struggle that led to the victim’s death in his remote cabin in central B.C.

Reid flew into a rage and used Archambault’s aluminum bat to strike him dozens of times, including six fatal blows to the head.

B.C. Supreme Court Justice Arne Silverman concluded that she was provoked by the insults and lost control of herself when she attacked the victim…

It’s seems ‘her’ transition to a female did not include becoming less aggressive.
