Cats & Guns Save Lives

South Africa – Cat Sentinels alert homeowners to presence of armed intruders, save the day.

Well, the Cats were the first to become aware of the intruders. That much is true.

Can’t count the times the cats – on our bed – have sprung up in alarm. So far, no intruders. But we do check.

    • They’re just messing with you.

Dude was tucked up in bed asleep with a loaded handgun?

      Nice place to live.

Welcome to SA, one of the highest murder centres in the world.

  • Uncle_Waspy

Heh…….the home invaders are of *cough cough*…..non-European ancestry. What a fluke!

  • lolwut?

Must be nice living in a country where you have to sleep with a gun IN your hand.

It’s because they didn’t pick their own cotton.

One of our engineers just got back from South Africa where he was doing some testing in a fabrication facility which is making one of our designs. There are lots of people in the factory but the only ones doing any work were the whites – the majority, blacks, just lazed around.

Guns did make the difference. It could’ve been a catastrophe.

      Guns and (feline?!) situational awareness.

I wanted to see more dead bodies.

  • Brett_McS

I’d suggest they get one or two of this particular breed of cat. They make loud noises when someone tries to break in.

    • He looks so blue 🙁

      • Brett_McS

No, she’s a happy puppy. That’s her quizzical look.

    • Linda1000

So cute and what’s her name again? She’s a cross b/t a Pug and a ??? Known as ???. Don’t think it’s a very common crossbreed in Canada.

      • Brett_McS

Bella. Cross of Pug and Jack Russell. Known here as a Jug.

        • Linda1000

Thanks, nice name for a beautiful girl. I’ll have to remember “Jug”.

The house cat here growls if someone new comes to the door…
