Social justice warriors react to #FHRITP

Ezra Levant of has more on the strange craze involving men yelling a particular obscenity at female reporters.

Dude’s job pays a hundred grand? What am I doing wrong?

  • BillyHW

Thought experiment: What would happen to the Left if we changed this meme to “FHITR: Fuck Him In The Rectum”? Would it be like that computer virus Data invented to take down the Borg?

    • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

      How about…….

‘Pound him in the prostate! Same sex marriage! Equal rights for all!’

No profanity, and a cry for equality.

Anyone, the broadcast media included, who objects to that phrase is obviously a homophobe. 😉

Wake me up when it’s “Social justice warriors react to drone strikes.”

    • WalterBannon

      can we crowd source that?

  • kkruger71

Yeah, it was bad enough with the SJW on Twitter cowing businesses into firing people, but the police and politicians jumping on this bandwagon is actually frightening.
Funny though when you look at the history of Sun News in particular, how much they had to splice their footage to get an actual report to air with the amount of people swearing, blocking the camera, yelling, whatever they could do to disrupt them in their jobs. Hell, I’d guess that more than half of Ezras stuff was just him reacting to this, partly because he enjoyed doing it, but also I’d guess because it would be impossible for him to have really done anything else.
And on no level do I buy this bit about it being sexual harassment, it really is just goofs using a phrase that is offensive and not allowed on the air, just looking at the amount of times it has been said with male reporters is proof of that. As BillyHW said in an earlier comment, it could have just as easily been FHITR.

‘Tell your friends, colleagues, strangers that verbally raping women isn’t funny and that you won’t accept it.’ – Catherine Porter, Toronto Star

‘Many men in Toronto find entertainment in verbally raping women.’ – Catherine Porter, Toronto Star

As offensive as I find the comparison of language to the physical crime of rape, I can only imagine how offensive such statements are to victims of actual, physically-violating rape.

      • kkruger71

Fully agree. I really believe people like this Catherine Porter and a lot of the SJW are trying to help make things better, and I’m sure that by equating all these minor things as being just as bad as rape is going to make these things less socially acceptable, but will also have the effect of making actual rapes and sexual assaults seem like less of crime to those that would be willing to do such things.

        • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

          Very well said.

Like too many of the Left’s popular causes ‘FHRITP’ brings out some of the Left’s hypocrisy.

      • WalterBannon

Catherine Porter, needs some verbal raping. From everyone, everywhere she goes.

        • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

It’s too bad the Star isn’t allowing comments on her shitty column.

    • Shebel

You sure do a lot of guessing.

  • Shebel

Thank God that Ezra has the nerve to call a spade a spade. Not many media type people do. It really bothers you sanctimonious, hypocritical ,regurgitating blatherers that someone is still here to make you account for your indiscretions.

I wonder what it takes to against the mainstream . Integrity?

Hey hey…. Menzies just mentioned you and Kathy on Oakley’s “The Media and the Message” just now. Ach! I can’t stand Susan G. Cole!
