Castro: This pope’s so impressive, I might return to church

Cuban President Raul Castro paid a call on Pope Francis at the Vatican Sunday to thank him for working for Cuban-US detente and later said he is so impressed by the pontiff he is considering a return to the Catholic church’s fold.

“Bienvenido!” Francis said in his native Spanish, welcoming Castro to his studio near the Vatican public audience hall. The Cuban president, bowing his head, gripped Francis’ hand with both of his, and the two men began private talks. The meeting lasted nearly an hour, as the Argentine-born Francis and Castro spoke in their native Spanish.

Francis will visit Cuba in September en route to the United States.

If you can’t destroy the church from the outside then join them and subvert it from within until it is destroyed. That is what is being done here.

    • Sorta like the Alberta PC party.

Francis is already on board with his open borders globalism and redistribution. He wants more primitive Africans welcomed to Europe and shown to the welfare office.

Why not? With this pope Castro would feel right at home.

After all “Liberation Theology” was a creation of the KGB.

It’s only fair. After all the pope has embraced socialism.

I wonder if Raul has been sold on the Church by the Vatican Rag (posted earlier).

  • Oh, look- Castro is lying again.
