Italy’s financial and customs police said on Wednesday they had rescued 98 starving migrants who had been drifting in the Mediterranean for two days without food or water…

…The latest dramatic chapters in what is becoming a humanitarian saga were played out against a backdrop of signs that a backlash against Italy’s acceptance of thousands of migrants washing up on its shores is gathering force, particularly in the north of the country.

Authorities in the mountainous region of Val d’Aosta on the border with France said on Wednesday they would not accept a batch of 79 people allocated to them by the Interior Ministry as part of efforts to spread the burden of processing new arrivals.

Regional president Augusto Rollandin said it was “absolutely impossible” for the region to find adequate lodging for the new arrivals as its one, 62-bed reception centre was already full…

It’s about time there was some backlash!

At this point they may as well build a damn bridge from Africa and light up the “vacancy” sign.

I’m surprised they’re not offering ferries.

The elites are discovering that the people don’t want to be replaced?

Cultural Marxism has guaranteed that a critical mass of Europeans, and North Americans for that matter, no longer have the will to stand up and protect their own countries. Extremely sad and disturbing to foresee the Western world circling the drain.

No kidding — backlash is way overdue.

oh goodie….we can watch the Pope wash all their feet…

  • Since the elites and the Pope are stubbornly ignoring everything that happens, my prediction is that the situation will soon explode into a mob rebellion similar to the French Revolution. Of course, the elites will try to postpone that by providing more benefits to the jungle invaders, but the money is running out.

It looks like an invasion from the blacks to Europe, but the law of karma says ”what goes around comes around ” 500 years ago the Europeans invaded Africa, now is pay back time.

Interesting theory. You may be right.

Yeah, but Homo Sapiens invaded Europe from Africa 30,000 years ago and displaced Neanderthals. So what if some H. Sapiens decided to visit their old homies?

I think the Aussies have it right: Out of compassion, give them food, medical attention if need be, clothing if need be – and safe passage back to where they came from.

Again, send them all to Sweden, the world’s self appointed ‘moral superpower’ and the country in Europe that praises itself for having no restrictions on ‘refugees’ at all.

Two days isn’t “starving”, it’s just hungry.
