NDP Wins Alberta, Conservatives Crash & Burn

Orange crush: Rachel Notley’s NDP stomp out 44-year PC dynasty

No one wanted to believe the polls but there you have it, a conservative party has managed to perform worse than Ontario’s Blighted Blue.

I think the PC – Wild Rose butt f&ck screwed the PC’s for good, not to mention the spending antics of her Royal Highness what’s her name who was forced out.

Pity Ontario will never again see a conservative government. Ontario is a different critter altogether, a virtual kleptocracy controlled by the public service unions.

Alberta Votes: Ezra Levant Reacts to NDP Majority

  • BillyHW

Fuck fake conservatives. Fuck ’em all. May they be raped by goats in hell for all eternity.

    • The Goat

The tables will be turned motherfuckers!

    • They were pathetic.

  • Alberta is having its Bob Rae moment – they need a total shakeup performed by ignorant windmill and solar panel worshiping lefties. When their oil industry collapses we may see a few lynchings. On the bright side – the Liberals were completely wiped out, I hope Justin is watching.

    • Well they got 1 seat;)

    • Justin St.Denis

But the NDP love cozying up with islamic militants, don’t they? Alberta’s “Bob Rae Moment” is going to come with a deadly twist. Count on it. I FI was a betting man, I would say Alberta will experience its first deadly terrorist attack within one year of the NDP’s investiture. I think I might call my bleeding-heart siste-in-law and challenge her, all in the spirit of “family cohesion” blah-blah-etcetera-blah-blah-blah-etcetera…

  • BillyHW
    • Oh Brother.

    • Tokenn

[Sigh] The Alberta PCs definitely needed to have the crap kicked out of them, and it has happened. This is what happens when Conservatives stop being conservatives. Stephen Harper….check your messages….

But Danielle is wrong [again]. If the Wild Rose hadn’t eviscerated itself, it would be in a much stronger Opposition position at least.

    • Has she no shame?

      • El Martyachi

There’s no whore like an early-middle aged whore.

        • She let her followers down.

          • BillyHW

Her followers should have known better than to make her leader.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

She wasn’t the only one to cross the floor.
Prentice should have told her to fuck off.
But, he played his Martin Stronach moment when he least needed to.
And stabbed her in the back.
Who accepts floor crossers in a majority?

          • El Martyachi

It looks like you’re gonna get good mileage out of LOL Vaginas.. at least in Alberta. The wimminfolk haven’t been stellar political performers lately. Prolly not gonna be third-one-the-charm either.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            Third times the charm.
            It’s not we’ll see.
            It’s when.

          • El Martyachi

          • dance…dancetotheradio

A perfect storm puts an NDP government in power and I’m the optimistic one?

          • El Martyachi

            Didn’t grok your last comment…

          • Sean

… And yet any discussion about women voting and why societies always crumble after women vote is badthink.

          • I guess they didn’t expect betrayal.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

      Fuck off Danielle.
You got suckered in by the Love Parade.

    • andycanuck

      • BillyHW

        Bitch doesn’t quite do it.

        • El Martyachi

Enjoy it while it lasts if you’re in Alberta (referring to the soon-to-be-gone freedom to call women bitches on the internet).

  • Alberta is a beautiful province.

It’s too bad its economy will tank almost overnight.

    • Martin B

I wonder if Albertans will come to their senses before the toilet paper rationing starts..

      • Too late, give back that roll.

        • eMan14

          They’ll be naked and afraid.

      • andycanuck

An SDA commenter already used the term “Venezuela North” to describe the situation.

      • They will be told to use birch bark.

    • Clausewitz

Got off the phone with my Best Man at my wedding. He is the CEO of a geology survey and drilling company based out of Calgary. The Vans for the move to Saskatoon will be dropping by next Monday. He’s moving his company while there’s still a company to move.

      • Exile1981

Been on the phone with clients and they all figure this means no new oilsands or drilling projects will get through the regulators. Looks like a lot of work will get cancelled.

        • They’re just jobs.

          • Exile1981

Of course and private sector ones at that, to the ndp those are the sorts of people they want to drive away.

          • I predict that the NDP will be driven out sooner than one thinks.

          • Exile1981

I can see a nonconfidence vote on the 1st budget. Unless the remaining pc’s sell out and support the ndp budget in exchange for some power. I could totally see the pc’s doing that.

          • What- helping the NDP or voting against them?

          • Exile1981

Ok what i see happening is the ndp bring in a far left budget and the pc and wr parties could stop it with a non-confidence vote which would mean a new election.

I fear though that the pc’s will cut some back room deal with the ndp and then support the budget. This will keep the ndp in poer and screw alberta.

          • The Tories have already screwed Alberta. It’s a question of when they will stop.

      • Good luck to him.

    • Justin St.Denis

And it’s suddenly empowered muslim terrorist cells will go into jihadi overdrive. Methinks Calgary is going to be toasted soon. Car-burnings are just around the corner…

      • Exile1981

The imans in calgary where telling there people to vote ndp.

      • I won’t be surprised.

  • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

The Orange Crush in my fridge doesn’t taste as good now as it did earlier. Just saying….

    • dance…dancetotheradio

Four years to Bob Rae Alberta.

  • Brett_McS

Looks a bit like a blonde Julia Gillard. Heaven help Alberta.

  • dance…dancetotheradio

    Alberta becomes a have not.
Who is going to pay for equalization now?

    • Clausewitz

      Saskatchewan and Nfld.

  • vimy

Mulcair came in his beard tonight and now he’ll go to bed and have wet dreams about becoming our next Prime Minister

    • Justin St.Denis

Are you writing from the Iranian perspective in Iran?

  • David Murrell

I’d like to know the role Preston Manning had, in luring Danielle Smith over to the left-of-centre PC party. The move of nine former Wild Rosers over to the PCs is what truly did the party in. The PCers did three things: (1) run deficits and over spent, (2) lured Danielle Smith ant the majority of Wild Rose over, and (3) raise taxes in the last budget. Great Red Tory stuff, but in the end Red Toryism died last night.

    • Clink9

Ghost of Joe Clark in the machine.

    • WalterBannon

Preston Manning is a traitorous piece of shit

      clearly all politicians are phonies

    • El Martyachi

One can’t help but wonder if the Wild Rose brand is done for good. Conservatives need to pick up the pieces and coalesce into something coherent for the next election.

And if you look at the next 4 years as a controlled burn it’s not that bad.

  • ontario john

Welcome to the new People’s Democratic Socialist Republic of Alberta. It was just announced this morning that Premier Wynne has agreed to send an advisory group to assist the new government in the following, 1. shut down the oilsands and replace them with wind turbines 2. hire thousands more civil servants 3. introduce new sex education programs in schools.

    • Alberta became Jihad central under a “conservative” regime. Imagine how much leeway the Muslims will be granted now?

Under Redford, Muslims who posted the Protocols were rewarded with good citizenship baubles.

      • ontario john

Just heard that as a reward for their votes, Islam will be the official religion of Alberta.

  • Jabberwokk

I love my Province. I’ve lived or visited all 4 corners. I loved the rough’n’tough attitude and the “I got your back” spirit. I used to brag about Alberta when I lived in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Alberta always seemed like the land of the wild and free in comparison to what i witnessed in other provinces. When I moved back I quickly realized that strength which i admired was gone and whatever was left I’ve watched squandered away. Now this. Alberta is dead to me.

    • El Martyachi
      • Jabberwokk

I appreciate the sentiment but I would prefer to come up with a strategy that does not end in being handed over and tortured to death. I think this time the good guys need a win that they can walk away from. 🙂

      • Clink9

Bolts of lightning from his arse? I’d forgotten what a big fan of Mexican food he was.
