This morning, the Crown requested that disgraced former Ontario Deputy Minister of Education Ben Levin serve three years and six months for counseling a person to commit an assault, and creating and possessing child pornography.
Ben Levin doesn’t deserve pity
Are we supposed to feel sorry for him?
His wife says the charges ended his outstanding professional career. Before his arrest, Levin was making about 50 speeches across Canada and around the world, writing about 25 papers and managing a dozen research projects. “All of this and the respect as well as the income associated with it, disappeared as soon as he was arrested,” she wrote. “This has been very hard on him.”
