Remember “Alix Bryan” from Yesterday? CBS Has Popped Her Like A Zit

What I mean is that they have SCRUBBED her entire existence from their Twitter account, but not yet from their site. I guess that will happen on Monday after their “web guy” shows up for work. Do notice that there is ZERO reference to her assumed previous employer on her Twitter feed. I think we can draw some conclusions from that.

  • What a vile thing she is.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

Vile is a good word for her, but I’m busy thinking of other NEW terms for her kind of SJW activism.
Since I’m devoid of anything approaching original thought, I’ll just steal a phrase from a commenter somewhere else.
      “Microfascist”
It not only fits her, but all those like her.

To use a beer reference, she’s concocting a DIY, handcrafted flavor of microfascism, and she hopes it catches-on!
This time her ‘boiling kettle’ exploded and metaphorically killed the Brewmeister, but another will attempt to salvage the wreckage, and try to make the recipe work.
      Count on it.

        She mistook activism for journalism.
CBS must have hired her knowing full well what she was and didn’t care.
They probably pointed her at the world like a monkey with a gun just to see what she could stir up.
If she went too far, oh well, journalism rookies are a dime a dozen these days and easily replaced.
As long as legal can craft a decent liepology and a couple of months severance then it’s lather rinse and repeat.

I hope the original TV station that ambushed Crystal O’Connor in the first place gets their comeuppance too.So they lost a coach and a journo so far ..It’s great they are being defeated with their own tactics..Great stuff

      • Drunk_by_Noon

They are scoring an amazing number of “own goals” so far, but they have lots of players and it’s still only the first quarter.

        • Rama44

One thing you can count on for sure is they’re bullies this looks a lot like the same group that were in with the occupy crowd.

        • dance…dancetotheradio

          Or the first period.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

            Yeah, that.
Honestly, soccer might as well have come from aliens of the planet Xenon, for as much as I know of it.
I just dig the concept of “own goal”. 🙂

            I was thinkin’ hockey.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

A difficult thing to play down here, 4 miles from the Mexican border. You could say the weather isn’t really ‘conducive’ to the sport.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

The San Jose Sharks, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks are California hockey teams in the NHL.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

All of those pro-teams are well north of here, and I bet none of theor players grew up in San Diego.
What I mean is that when all the decent hockey players first learned to play on frozen lakes and ponds, those sorts of things don’t exist around here.
You would be hard-pressed to find an ice skating rink in these parts. Maybe we have some, it’s just not common here.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            I know.
It explains how few Canadian baseball players there are.
DnB: “You’re not from around these here parts are you, boy?”
I swear I’ve only had one beer so far.
It’s laundry night and hockey night.
And a little beer is going to take the edge off the in-laws Easter tomorrow.

          • simus1

Field hockey as it is played in places like Scotland, Ireland, Pakistan, and India would be a good workout where there is a shortage of facilities for ice hockey.

Then if you really wanted to give the local sports safety nannies the vapours, pretending to be organizing a “Pelota Phurepecha” kids tournament should do it.

      “…like Super gay Crowder…”?

      Crowder is not gay.

      • mauser 98

he was acting as one (?)

    • Frances

He should have entered the establishments hand-in-hand with his ‘affianced’ and seen what the reaction was.

The commenter in the link who equates these lame media microfascists to those brought in by the nazis to set the Reichstag fire is golden.
    So true. So very true.

  • andycanuck

It also looks like the (lying) apology was written by the station’s lawyer IMHO.

  • Brett_McS

So it is a “her”, then.

    • Rama44

      allegedly

  • Martin B

“…and I thought that someone could be attempting to selfishly benefit”

Yup, that’s Alix Bryan, always thinking of others, always on the lookout for anyone who might be trying to selfishly benefit from someone else’s misfortune. We should all be grateful.

    • Blacksmith

Yeah, I had noticed the irony was so thick you needed an axe to cut it.

      • Justin St.Denis

No axe sharp enough to cut through that shit.
