First pictures of Britons arrested while attempting to cross into Syria from Turkey

Nine Britons arrested on the Turkish border on Wednesday as they sought to cross illegally into war torn Syria will be deported to Britain on Thursday, according to reports.

“They are being held at a paramilitary outpost. Probably, they will be deported to their country on Thursday,” said Mehmet Ali Ediboglu, a Turkish MP.

The Telegraph understands that the group was arrested in Reyhanli, a town that borders rebel held parts of Syria.
