Netanyahu pans World Silence over Iran General’s Call to Destroy Israel

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu responded Wednesday to yesterday’s statement by a senior Iranian military official that Israel should be “wiped of the map”, once again criticizing international powers for softening their stance on Iran’s nuclear program while Tehran simultaneously pursues an ever more aggressive foreign policy.

“Yesterday an Iranian general brazenly declared and I quote: ‘Israel’s destruction is non-negotiable’, but evidently giving Iran’s murderous regime a clear path to the bomb is negotiable,” Netanyahu said of the comments by the Commander of Iran’s Basij (volunteer) Force, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi.

“This is unconscionable,” Netanyahu declared…

    History has a pesky way of tending to repeat itself (but not always in quite the same way):

    When the Nazis came for the communists,
    I remained silent;
    I was not a communist.

    When they locked up the social democrats,
    I remained silent;
    I was not a social democrat.

    When they came for the trade unionists,
    I did not speak out;
    I was not a trade unionist.

    When they came for the Jews,
    I remained silent;
    I wasn’t a Jew.

    When they came for me,
    there was no one left to speak out.

      When obama came for the tea party,
      I remained silent;
      I wasn’t a tea party member.

      When obama came for the film maker’
      I remained silent;
      I wasn’t a film maker.

      When obama came for the cake bakers,
      I remained silent;
      I wasn’t a cake baker.

      When obama came for the bloggers’
      I remained silent;
      I wasn’t a blogger.

      When obama came for me,
      There was no one left to speak out.

        From an Obamaton’s POV …

        When obama came for the tea party,
        I cheered;
        Those racist bigots need putting down in the worst way. I’ll never be a “tea bagger.”

        When obama came for the film maker’
        I cheered;
        This provided misdirection and cover to the treasonous (under any other POTUS) actions of the administration and made sure the media had a story to use that didn’t include the murder of 4 Americans, one of them the Ambassaor. Oh, and I wasn’t a film maker and don’t know who Ben Ghazi is.

        When obama came for the cake bakers,
        I was thrilled;
        That gay couple searched far and wide to find a Christian baker to reject their patronage and having found them, they need to bake the cake or find a new line of work. That’s the free market in action. And let them eat Christian cake bakers.

        When obama came for the bloggers’
        I breathed a sigh of relief;
        Finally, all that fact-noise would be shut down and we wouldn’t have to endure independent thought. I wasn’t a blogger. I was a troll.

        When obama came for me,
        Hey! Obama never came for me!
        Where’s my free stuff … ?
        Hello? Is this thing on? …?

    The entire diplomatic corps should demand the resignation of Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi.
    He leads the equivalent of Hitler’s SA (Sturm Abteilung…storm troopers). His thugs beat up civilians or shoot at them if they protest in the streets.

    Should obumbler throw aside Israel, as it appears he has, and war between Israel and the encircling arabs break out Netanyahu will do what he has to and I would not discount using his nuclear option.

    • Norman_In_New_York

      Netanyahu told the U.S. Congress that Israel will do what it must do to survive.

  • Just a thought

    The world is silent because they approve of what Iran wants to do. G-d gave Pharaoh the rope with which he hung himself. History is repeating.
